Five story grade 2 listed house sleeping up ro 12, with separate self contained flat, sleeping 2/4.

The Studio flat has its own entrance and exit, own garden area complete with table, shower room, washroom with WC, and fully equipped kitchen.

The main prperty has 2 bathrooms + washroom and 1 double bed nd 3 bed sitting rooms.

It is conveniently located near Kings Cross/St Pancras, Mornington Crescent and Camden Tubes, Eurostar, and the Olympic Shuttle (7 mins to the Olympics)

It has a spacious bed sitting room with a large double bed or two singles as preferred. There are two storage beds which double as settees in the day time.

The property is well furnished with genuine antiques and pictures. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, toaster, dishwasher, blender, cutlery, ample plates, cups, mugs, glasses.

There is a separate laundry room with drying facilities.

Garden flat has its own entrance from the front, one large bed sitting room with king sized double beds, plus day bed, and extra bed if required. Own kitchen, shower room and wc. It also has own exit to garden and a private patio. Flat screen TV, free internet, same high standard of furnishings and facilities as upper flat.

The Rimbaud & Verlaine House (1827) was the last place occupied by the famous poets. It is on a quiet, well lit, residential street near all amenities -

Six tube lines and 4 main line stations are within walking distance, and Eurostar is just over 10 mins away. There are crack express trains to Scotland, the North and Midlands, as well as Brighton, and the South.

It is a short walk from Eurostar, and bus routes. To the north is Camden with its famous street market. To the south, the British Library, British Museum, Covent Garden Opera.

The main museums and galleries, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Oxford Street, Picadilly Circus, are within easy reach - Tate Modern is reached via Mornington Crescent to Waterloo.

All airports are under an hour by train - Heathrow, Gatwick, and Luton are on direct lines.

All of London with its diversity are in easy reach - opera, ballet, theatre, pop, and rock, the Planetarium, Parks, Skateboard Parks, Cathedrals, Churches, something to meet everyone's interests.

Mainline stations are in easy reach.

Camden Road has links direct to Wimbledon for tennis and Kew Gardens - the journey take 30-40 mins.

St Pancras International has direct links to Brighton and the South East, and Eurostar to Paris and Brussels, with connections through to the European rail network.

    NB Bookings for Christmas/New Year are charged at 1 week minimum.

    The Garden Flat Annex can be available on a self contained basis is ideal for 2 adults or 2 adults and two children and has its own kitchen, shower room & WC, and separate entrances exit to the garden and street. Rates range from £375 to £695/week and from £65 to 95/ night. Please note single nights attract a supplementary charge.

    Single and two nights are sometimes available, but attract an extra charge.
  • The Security deposit is:

    £300 for up to 8 persons,

    £500 for 9 persons or more.

    The security deposit excludes far wear and tear, and is returned promptly at the end of the stay.
  • Garage parking is available at £14.00 perday or part thereof.

    On street parking is free at weekends.

    However, unless you need a car you are advised to rely on public transport: these facilities are unrivalled with 6 Railway Stations within walking distance, numerous bus stops, and 6 tube lines.

  • The bath/shower rooms are really exciting. The two in the top flat are large 3.4 X 2.7 metres. Visitors rate them as an experience in themselves. The garden flat has a walk in shower, with two shower heads, with separate WC.

In 2010 the garden will be complete with seating, children's play things, working fountain, and the plants will make for an out door room. Movable screening will make the area to the garden flat private, or ope as preferred. The main room has a working gas fire for cosy winter evenings. All rooms have double lined curtains. The kitchen also has a bread maker, a large food processor, and pressure cooker, and ample cutlery and crockery.

We’re two women from Canada, who stayed in the studio flat at this property for 8 days this last June. I must say that it was perfect for our purposes. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the garden area was perfect for sitting out in.

Michael, the landlord, was a lovely chap. He welcomed us, as promised, with a pot of tea and biscuits, and there was fresh homemade bread, butter, milk and eggs, in case we didn’t feel like shopping that afternoon. He, or his assistant/caretaker (a very obliging fellow), were always available to answer any questions, or take care of any problems. Couldn’t have asked for more.

And the location was perfect. The tube and buses were a few minutes away, as was Camden High Street, with all kinds of shops, restaurants, and a Sainsbury’s. It was close to King’s Cross/St Pancras Rail Station, Camden Market, the British Library, the British Museum, Covent Garden—the list goes on.

I would highly recommend this studio, garden flat, for any couple without a car who, occasionally, like to come home after a full and exhausting day experiencing London, cook their own supper, and relax in the delightful garden with a book and a glass of wine. (Of course, if you prefer, you can go out clubbing every night—it’s still a great base to have!)

My family of 8 rented this flat for a couple of days in October, 2010, and LOVED it. It was easy to find,... is conveniently located near the Kings Cross/St. Pancras station,... spacious.... and very comfortable. The owner was very nice, and met us at the flat with tea and biscuits when we arrived. He also provided a bowl of fresh fruit which was a nice touch. The only downside (which didn't bother us) was that fact that the flat is on 4 levels -- which means whoever has the bedroom on the 4th level has to climb a lot of stairs. The first floor is the kitchen/dining area, the 2nd floor is 2 bedrooms, the 3rd floor is a bedroom and a bath, and the 4th floor is a bedroom and a bath. All the bathrooms were very nice, and the flat is decorated in wonderful antiques. I would definitely recommend this flat if you are planning a vacation to London.

Fabulous comfy beds and white cotton bedding, starter pack with all essentials

Owner(very nice) in and out the house daily, to either let the builders in the unfinished garden or do the washing for the downstairs flat, or let the repair man in to fix the dishwasher.

Was a family reunion, only see family once a year, wanted privacy. Garden inaccesible much needed when London reached 27 degrees in May 2010
