The Hale Le'a Le'a, which in Hawaiian means the “HOUSE OF GREAT PLEASURE”, resides beach front on the famous shoreline of North Shore Oahu.
Just steps to the beach and you'll be digging your toes in the sand and hopefully see a Honu or two, (our resident Hawaiian green sea turtles), bobbing in the the ocean. Our beach is serene and semi private, but if you prefer we are also close to all the world renowned North Shore beaches, such as Ali'i Beach, Chuns, Lonis, Waiamea Bay, Banzai Pipeline and Sunset beach.
Waialua is a wonderful and very centralized location. Just 2 miles to historic Haleiwa town. There you will find many unique boutique and surf shops. There is a wide array of restaurants, ranging from fresh local seafood, Thai food, Mexican food, “Kua Aina” for burgers and sandwiches, the food trucks that specialize in shrimp plates and don't forget Matsumoto's for a shaved ice.
The activities available are endless, from Scuba dives, deep sea fishing, Shark adventure tours, whale watching (seasonal), or rent surf boards, paddle boards, jet skis, kayaks or snorkel gear.
And a short drive to Dillingham Airport offers skydives, ultra light flight tours and glider rides. Mokuleia Beach, the Polo fields, horseback riding and Kaena Point are also nearby. And don't forget the Dole Pineapple Plantation, Waimea falls, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Turtle Bay.
Easy day trips to Pearl Harbor Memorial, Diamond Head Crater, Waikiki, Makapu'u Lighthouse, and shopping at the swap meet at Aloha Stadium.
And of coarse remember to just relax at Hale Le'a Le'a, the “HOUSE OF GREAT PLEASURE”. Listen to the sound of the surf and the trade winds blowing through the coconut palms with a Mai Tai in hand at sunset.

Being Beach Front and watching the beautiful sunsets.
There is nothing better than being beach front. The sound of the surf, the cool trade wind breeze, the Hawaiian sea turtles out front, and of coarse the sunsets!
We had a last minute trip to Oahu due to business and wanted to stay the weekend, but not in Honolulu -- too much traffic and shopping, not enough relaxation. We stayed in this sweet little studio and had a great time. Literally steps from the ocean. We fell asleep each night to the sound of the waves. Beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel equipment were provided and much appreciated. Loraine even gave us directions to a great snorkel spot where we got to watch the fish clean the turtles. Minutes away from Haleiwa, where we did all of our grocery shopping and got drinks. I highly recommend this spot.
We just went for a quick stay of 3 days. The place was perfect for our short stay.
We went to this wonderful place for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Amazing views and beach right there! Lorraine was very helpful! The North shore was perfect quiet place so much to see and do! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who wants a beach house right on the beach with everything you need near by this house is what your looking for!
We stayed in this beach house for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. It was so relaxing. Our days were spent adventuring around the island but evenings were spent playing in the water and walking the beach. We grilled fresh fish for dinner several nights while enjoying some of the most beautiful sunsets right from the lanai. This was a perfect get away to celebrate our anniversary.
The property is very well kept, studio is comfortable, and we felt right at home. We used the hotplate every morning to cook our breakfast and enjoyed eating while taking in the ocean. Jeanne was so helpful and gave us some really good tips on where to eat locally and what to go and see. We will return some day!
We booked this property for the 2nd week of our honeymoon, from our first contact with the owners, to leaving after our stay was so easy and straight forward. We found the property with absolutely no problems with the help of a very basic map of Oahu in a magazine. The beach was deserted most days, with just the occasional person walking their dog. The neighbours were very helpful also and very friendly. The property is a 5 min drive from Haleiwa where all the main places to eat and activities are. We spent most days going out and visiting the beaches nearby and also having a surf lesson on the infamous sunset beach area, as well as swimming with turtles and scuba diving. We also spent most of our evenings sat on the lanai watching amazing sunsets and barbecuing. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend this for a honeymoon as it is so peaceful, laid back and relaxing, thank you Lorraine and Dennis for letting us stay in your property
4 days on the north shore.... this was the best place to stay.... everything we needed, Lorraine was so helpful & friendly. Pineapple waiting for us and beautiful flowers! VERY CLEAN! It was lovely to be AWAY from the 'resort atmosphere'. Pictures are totally accurate and it's a larger place than what you think it will be. Ocean waves 24/7.... music to my ears! Mahalo, Lorraine and Dennis.... I definitely would return!
