Ideally located in the beach enclave of the the Village of Montecito, you are less than a half-mile to the gorgeous beaches of Butterfly Beach and Hammonds Beach. Butterfly Beach was named one of Fodor's Seven Best West Coast Family Beaches for 2012.
The property is also less than a half-mile to Montecito's Lower Village. The Lower Village has been named the 'Rodeo Drive' of the American Riviera. Here you will find incredible shopping, art galleries, fantastic restaurants, and maybe one of the many celebrities that frequent Coast Village Road.
Montecito is located just minutes from the city of Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara was named one of the Six Best Romantic Vacations by TripAdvisor. Santa Barbara is so named because of the exquisite Mission located there, considered to be the Queen of the California Missions.
Be sure to include in your visit a trip to one or all of the many Santa Barbara's Museums; the Art Museum, Natural History Museum, Maritime Museum and more. If you are interested in ocean activities, take some time to visit both the Santa Barbara Harbor and Stearns Wharf. There, you can book a whale watching excursion, ocean fishing, a voyage to the Channel Islands or rent a boat and be captain of your own ship.
Santa Barbara also has lots of hiking trails and don't miss a visit to the Botanic Gardens. It is both beautiful and educational.
If you want to venture South, visit Carpinteria named the World's Safest Beach because of the sheltering effect of the Channel Islands. Further south is the world-famous Rincon Beach.
Traveling North, in a little over 30 minutes, you can visit the Santa Ynez Valley. The Valley offers world-renowned wineries, beautiful mountain and Valley vistas, incomparable biking, great golf, California Historical sites and more.
