Auburn Townhome Rental Photos and Description
Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in the comfort of home Fantastic 2 bedroom
The Auburn Retreat is located a few blocks from downtown Auburn. On a game day there is no need to get in your car and search for a parking spot... just put on your team colors and head out the door for a 20-25 minute walk to the stadium. If you prefer to stay at the townhouse and watch the play by plays on the large flatscreen tv, do that. You can even open up the backdoor to the patio and listen to the game being broadcast straight from the stadium. There are plenty of cute shops and good places to eat in downtown Auburn that you can also walk to. Don't forget to stop in at Toomer's for a lemonade! If you decide to stay in a cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, minus the groceries, however if you would like for me to stock the kitchen, I would be happy to provide that service for you too. If there is someone in your family that has an allergic reaction to laundry soap, let me know so that I can be sure an use an appropriate detergent for you. There are quite a few great eating establishments in Opelika as well. This comes in handy and is always a good option if you are wanting to get a little further away from the crowd. We’re hoping that you find everything that you need in the cabinets. (If you don’t, please note in the guest book what we were missing that would have been nice to have.) There are coffee filters, and decaf and regular coffee in the cabinet above the coffee maker. Sugar and Splenda are in the cabinet to the right of the frig. Half and Half for coffee is in the frig. Help yourself to anything else in the frig. There are to-go cups are in the cabinet with the cups and glasses.
In the living room, there is an extra long sofa that doubles for a great XL twin bed when the back cushions are taken off! Also in this room is a pull-out bed that is housed in the piece of furniture that has the green lamp on top of it. The downstairs half bath is also the laundry room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a full bed, and the other has a king. There are two full baths upstairs as well. There is a hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, medical emergency kit, and a few items that are there for you just in case you forgot them. I've tried to think of things that might make our Auburn Retreat a bit more like a B&B!
Our hope is that you feel like you are at home while staying here in the Auburn Retreat!

Guestbook comments from the owner
Sid and Jane Ellen,
What an unreal weekend! Thanks so much for the place. It really felt like home. Thanks for making such a wonderful place!!
War Damn Eagle,
Sid and I graduated from Auburn in the 80's. On both sides of our family we have an Auburn legacy, and to top it off, our two sons are alums! We have been going back to Auburn for years for games and to visit our boys when they were in school.
We decided to buy a place in Auburn when our first went off to school. Later when his brother joined him we knew that we had made a good decision. After they graduated we decided to hold on to a piece of Auburn!
