Decks furnished with 'Adirondack' rocking chairs, perfect for viewing on of the finest beaches in the South. Childrens' den downstairs with comfy sofas and stocked with videos. Five minute walk to the village of Isle of Palms - a palm tree lined street with restaurants and shopping. Great for a evening stroll and ice cream.

Upstairs - Large living area with ocean views, master bedroom with king bed and en-suite bath with separate tub and shower. Main Floor - Open living room with ocean views opening to large deck. Open kitchen and eating area. Second master with king-size bed, third bedroom with queen bed. Bath with tub/shower.

Downstairs - Eating area with second refrigerator - perfect for staging the perfect day at the beach, living area with comfy sofas and two twin bed for sleeping, fourth bedroom queen bed, fifth bedroom one double bed and one twin, bath with tub/shower. Outside shower with hot and cold water.

We purchased this property and named it Sea Nook because it is on a private corner overlooking the ocean.We have a large family and everyone enjoys the activities this beach location provides. we surf, bike, swim, play beach volleyball and beach lacrosse and enjoy eating together overlooking the ocean. We also enjoy all that downtown Charleston has to offer. This is a perfect spot at the quiet end of the island and we are sure that you will enjoy your stay.

We chose this vacation spot because we found it to be the most family friendly location. The beach is easy to walk and the sound of the sea at the end of the day relaxes everyone from newborns to octogenarians. My son opened a lacrosse store in Mt Pleasant 'Low Country Lacrosse' after years of coming to Isle of Palms for our vacations. If you have a lacrosse player, he will help you find the lacrosse activities you are looking for during your stay.

We are beach people so everyone loves the beach. We also have surfers, fishermen, golfers, boaters, and those who love the dining and shopping they can find in downtown Charleston.

Great stay at Sea Nook

My wife and I stayed at Sea Nook over New Years with two other couples in order to attend a wedding. The house was great - everything was clean and well kept. We enjoyed having a large three level home so each couple could have their own space and bathroom. Being across the street from the beach and ocean was very nice for walks and throwing the Frisbee (although it wasn't really swimming weather in January). The house is also a short drive to grocery stores, shopping, and downtown Charleston.

Awesome house

We arrived at Sea Nook on Christmas Day with two 60 somethings, five young adults, and 4 children: 8 years old, two 3 year olds, and six months old. We stayed for four nights, and it was so much fun. It is always a risk to go to the beach in the winter, but the weather was quite reasonable, and we were able to spend lots of time on the beach, playing in the sand, running in the water (the kids), walking and jogging. While not right on the beach, Sea Nook is on the second row, with a beach entrance right across the street. The house itself is a remarkable space for a crowd, with three complete living areas on three floors. The young family with the infant had their own space on the lower level, and the elders took the upper space, a magnificent master suite which was quiet and private. The house is very well equipped - plenty of kitchen equipment, baby items, beach toys and chairs, and multiple televisions on each floor. Charleston is a short drive away and we spent one day shopping and touring. A beautiful front porch spreads across the second level, and there is a nice sized backyard which also makes it kid friendly. All of us were thinking about plans to rent it during the summer. The owners were extremely easy to work with. No problems or complaints whatsoever - a memorable post Christmas treat!

Perfect Beach House

My family has been vacationing on Isle of Palms for 10 years and our accommodations at Seanook this summer were by far the best we've experienced! The house is beautifully decorated and provides all needed appliances, linens, beach gear, etc.
As two families that include several teenagers we found the layout to be perfect. All of the kids enjoyed hanging out in the basement (with their own refrigerator!) and the variety of sleeping spaces allowed for a mix of sleeping configurations for older teens and younger siblings.
The adults cooked almost all of our meals at home and even enjoyed hosting other friends who were staying in Charleston over for cocktails on the porch in the evening. When it got chilly (which it did in the evening even in July) we were able to retire the gorgeous third floor living room which has beautiful ocean views for relaxing conversation.
The location is perfect - easy beach access, short walk/bike ride to the shops or across the bridge to Sullivans and a quick drive into town.

If our two families can work out our schedules :) we hope to make Seanook our annual beach house!

i have been going to the beach for 50 years with my family. I have 4 grown children with spouses and grandkids. This is one of my favorite beach houses I have rented. It has 3 large living room areas on 3 different floors, so plenty of room to spread out. The women loved how it was decorated, every bedroom a different color, very charming and tasteful. We cooked our meals and stayed in, so it was very nice having a well appointed kitchen.' The only change I would make is for them to enclose the outside shower. Some of us like to take down a robe and do our full shower outside, frees up the bathroom for others. But definitely can't wait to stay there again.

A wonderful house in a beautiful location

I stayed at 'Sea Nook' with a few other couples in celebration of my 20th wedding anniversary. We found the house to be just perfect for our needs: plenty of space for each couple with a bathroom on each floor, very tastefully decorated and in very good shape, wonderful common sitting room on the main floor with another one on each of the floors for more intimate conversation, a huge deck where you can sit and listen to the ocean, great access to a spacious beach right across the street. . .just perfect. We even had someone come out to the house to re-new our wedding vows on the beach!

Great access to Charleston as well as other activities: we rented paddle boards and used them in the ocean across the street, had a couple of wonderful meals at local restaurants, and enjoyed some night life as well.

Although we stayed as couples, this property could very easily accommodate a couple of families as well. Susan was a pleasure to deal with and obviously takes great pride in her property.

We would happily go back to Sea Nook. . .and have already considered plans to!
