The original part of Willowbank Cottage dates back to the 16th Century. It has been sympathetically restored and contains many original features whilst allowing for modern day living. It is a truly charming property with a real 'get away from it all' feel about it. The cottage is located in its own private gardens on a quiet, no through lane, surrounded by open fields. There is an abundance of wild life to be seen and The Great Western Railway steam train passes in the next field, adding to its charms. There are tranquil walks from the door taking you onto the Cotswolds hills. Although set in a superb rural location, other amenities, the Cotswold villages, Cheltenham (including racecourse) are easily accessible, making it a superb location for family get-together and special occasions. Stratford -upon -Avon is also close to hand.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pounds) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Weekly and Weekend short stays commence on a Friday.
    Weekend stays are for a minimum of three nights.
    Midweek short stays commence on a Monday. If midweek short breaks are for three nights, then the weekend rate applies. The midweek rate only applies for stays of four nights.
    We do not accept bookings of less than three nights.
    The exception to the changeover day is Christmas and New Year. Only weekly bookings are accepted for these two periods. In 2009 they run from Sunday to Sunday and for 2010 from Wednesday to Wednesday.

    We permit one well behaved dog per booking, subject to agreement of terms and conditions. A charge of £20 per dog is made regardless of the length of stay.

    Due to the age and structure of the cottage no fireworks and lit candles are permitted at the cottage. Smoking is not permitted.
  • To reserve the property, a booking form will need to be completed and our terms and conditions signed. These will be sent to you by either post or e mail at the time of your reservation request. An initial 25% non-refundable deposit is also payable at the time of booking. Following receipt of the booking form, signed terms and conditions and deposit, a formal confirmation of booking will be sent to you.

    The balance of the amount due, along with the security deposit (see below) are payable no less than 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental period. If payment is not received we reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. You may be liable to pay the balance in the event that we are unable to re-let the property.
    Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment together with the returnable security deposit, at the time of booking.
  • A security deposit of £100 is required to cover damage to the property or contents. Please note this sum shall not limit your liability to the owner. A receipt will be given for the amount received and monies due returned within two weeks after the end of the rental period.
