The magnificent central beach of Rethymno, about 10 miles in length, is within 10 mins walk from the apartment. The south cost with its unspoiled coves and dramatic cliffs, crystal clear, sparkling water is within 1hr drive. The apartment is located in the centre of Rethymno, an old town overflowing with history and amazing Venetian and Turkish architecture. Rethymno is built around the charming old harbour with the fishing boats arriving with the days catch. The new harbour and marina next to it, connects the town with the mainland of Greece. This traditional town is packed with atmosphere, where narrow, alleyways and beautiful old houses mix with modern life. Rethymnon prefecture is situated perfectly in the middle of Crete, between the prefectures of Heraklio and Chania, which make it an ideal base to explore the island.

    Caretakers: our caretakers are available 24/7 to all our guests. They will meet you at the apartment and will hand over to you the keys. They will help you to find your feet around and explore the area, will give a valuable advise how to find the best tavernas with home cooked Cretan delicacies and how to get to the the shops, the banks etc. They are available in a case of emergency as they live near by and will help you with any of your requests.
