Colourful, comfortable, spacious 1 Br, 1 Bathroom fully furnished apt.

Location is excellent. Tastefully renovated apartment that we have used ourselves. The bedroom includes a Queen bed with twin bed loft, suitable for a child age 3-15. A spacious wooden patio is accessible from the bedroom. The bathroom glass shower stall has ample hot water. Amenities include washer/dryer, full kitchen, a/c, WIFI, cable TV, DVD player. Multiple multi-ethnic restaurants and interesting shopping within 2 blocks. Trinity Bellwoods park is nearby with easy walking to AGO and MOCCA (art gallery), TIFF Bell lightbox (cinema), Roy Thompson hall (music), King west entertainment district (theatre) . Add 10 minutes to access ACC (sports).

No smoking or pets please.

We do not provide parking, but temporary parking permits are available on line and there is readily available street parking nearby.

We live 1 1/2 hrs north of Toronto in the country. This apt has been our urban escape for years and we love it. It's bright, happy and located in our favorite part of Toronto.

We have recently renovated the 3rd floor apt (previously used for long-term rentals) and have moved upstairs.

We come down to the city approximately every 1-2 weeks. We have used VRBO ourselves and hope to provide guests a comfortable, stress free experience with easy availability to us at all times.

Dan or Tessa purchased this apartment in 2006

Living on a farm, relatively isolated, is our baseline choice for living. However, intermittently, it's interesting and fun to immerse ourselves in an urban environment and our property is what we consider a perfect location to do so. We've traveled extensively and although each location is unique, Queen st w. Toronto is our favorite, due primarily to the multi-ethnic aspect of the place and proximity to various interesting venues.

A Delightful Gem

Travellers when seeking the kindness of humanity should look no further...this is not only a place to rest you head on sweet smelling sheets...but to step out onto a street filled with the unique aspirations of those who wish to introduce whimsy into our lives. I hesitate to put into words just how much my daughter and I enjoyed our 17 day stay in this most charming abode, for fear that when we return we will find it fully booked. You have everything contained here that you could possibly need, with the most attentive of hosts.. Tessa and Dan. Whilst they do not disturb nor intrude, should you have the need of assistance they are there.The apartment itself could not possibly be more accommodating. Delightfully designed it is simply a joy to return to following a hectic day in Toronto. Queen Street West offers such a variety of dining establishments which are all very comfortably within walking distance. In our opinion the best just happened to be next door.... I highly recommend Banu for an evening meal. Insofar as shopping for the unusual, again it is but a few step away.
As mentioned I hesitate to praise excessively ... But only because when I wish to return...and I fear that this jewel in Downtown Toronto will soon be much sought after.

Fun Apartment

My mother and I stayed at this apartment for five days. We found it to be charming, great location ( similar to Chicago's Wickers Park or San Francisco Ashbury District-vintage shops, ethnic eateries, etc...), easy walking or transit access to all tourist sites, and good landlords. The apartment was fairly spacious and comfortable yet old world charm characteristics. The owners were pleasant and responded quickly to emails and stopped by a few times to check in and make sure we did not need anything.A few amenities I really enjoyed were the motion detected hallway lights in the stairway up the apartment, washer/dryer, and great water pressure/heating for the shower. The street car runs 24 hours a day and comes every few minutes steps outside front door. Most places and all transits accepts both US and Canada money with no issues.

Great place!

We stayed at this apartment for 4 days during our recent trip to Toronto with 2 young kids. It was perfect in every way--perfect location with close proximity to everything, perfect size for all of our needs and wants, perfect owners--very accomodating and friendly, perfect for eating out or dining in. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone we know who is traveling to Toronto and would love to come back and stay here again! We really enjoyed the city too, so please do not hesitate when booking this apartment--you will not be dissapointed!

Stunning apartment, funky neighborhood - an absolute must! A+++

We stayed 1 week in this beautiful apartment with our 8 year old daughter. Everything you see in the photos is exactly as it was. Stunning decor. Very, very clean and well maintained, with instructions and little post-its to make our stay simple and easy. We especially enjoyed the quiet of the back patio, which we used to unwind after long days out and about.

The neighborhood is vibrant with activity (as is the city) with lots of funky little shops and restaurants and interesting characters. All within walking distance to many, many attractions (or you could hop on the streetcar, right outside!). If you enjoy street art, this apartment is steps away from the famous "Rush Lane" - where you might actually catch a few artists at work.

Our hosts were very helpful in providing information on the area and communicating with them was quick, easy and always a pleasure.

This is simply a great place to stay!

The apartment was really wonderful. The description was spot-on and the photos - they don't do it justice. It's very funky and classy all in the same way. It was very clean and well maintained. We loved the small deck out back - it was such a lovely surprise.
The owners were delightful and very helpful with recommending restaurants.
We had rented a car for a few days and parking proved to be challenging.
We would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.
