Private parking is beyond lockable gates.The private pool is surrounded by manicured lawns in lush gardens, palms and other trees provide natural shade. Bougainvillea & Mediterranean plants and vines abound.The covered BBQ area and outdoor kitchen facilitate Al fresco cooking of meals to be enjoyed under the shaded front porch with its outdoor dining facilities and rocker sofa for a nap afterwards. Inside is a real treasure chest that could not be more typically Andalucian. From the antique leg warmer under the dining table to the rustic and fully functional little kitchen. Highly recommended

A very comfortable and spacious house on a quiet street in a typical Spanish village. The house was exactly as described and located at the border of the Natural National Park. The territory is big and green. You can enjoy the air from the pines of the park especially in the evening . Nerja caves are in 5 min walk from the villa and worth seeing. The kitchen was very well equipped, bedrooms were clean. We were impressed by the plants on the territory especially with fig trees with fruits on it. There were several good beaches that can be easily reached by car. As minor issue electricity can be mentioned, since it switched off when automatic irrigation of the territory was working and you switch on the washing mashing together with cattle. But the electric switch is behind the door and you can easily resolve the problem by yourself. Despite of this we highly recommend the villa because the location and the house are wonderful!

What a wonderful place. A little bit of heaven. Lovely peaceful outside space with sun and shade. Very comfortable beds and everything worked well. A genuine Spanish home with loads of character. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely return.

A true gem

The villa is very nice and even more beautiful in reality. Its fully equipped, comfortable and clean. You have a nice sea view and overlook of Nerja. The area is very calm and nice. Lovely garden and spotless pool. We really enjoyed our stay and our little daughter adapted quickly the environment. Esther & Antonio made us feel very welcome. Esther made a great job and prepared a lot of interesting spots, including a great driving direction. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Great Place

This is a great place tranquil & comfortable with lovely views over the country & sea. You will need a car but it is a very short walk into the village of Maro & short drive to Nerja.

It is comfortable, spotless and very well equipped. It has lots of extras and during our stay it felt like a home away from home. While the more energetic of us could go walking in the mountains just over the back wall of the garden into a National Park - the rest could lounge in the garden, terrace & pool - all of which were great.

The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We strongly recommend this villa.

Eden!

I almost don't want to write a review of this property as it will become so popular that I won't be able to find any dates open when I return. From the meet and greet to the departure it was perfect in every way. It is spotlessly clean, has every amenity you can imagine, the pool was clean and warm even in October. It is so private and quiet and yet close to everything. You are literally on top of the Nerja Caves (there's quite the history with this home in relation to these caves - a MUST SEE!). This home is the most charming and authentic place I have every stayed. Ester and Ester, thank you for making our stay in Maro one we will cherish forever. We hope to return in the near future.

Notes:
The rent includes water, gas and electricity, bed linen and towels (including beach towels). Arrival / departure days are flexible all year round as we understand that mid week flights are much more economical. Arrival time 16.00; departure time no later than 10.00 AM to allow for cleaning and preparation for arrivals Though where possible we will always try to accommodate earlier / later arrivals / departures depending on our schedules and commitments. Change of linen and towels is provided on the 7th day then weekly. Extra days at pro-rata cost. Discounted rates for long lets, low season, A holding deposit of 15% is required within 7 days of booking. A refundable damage deposit of £100 / €150 Euro is required on arrival. Child's high chair and cot can be provided. Air conditioning is provided in the master bedroom and low noise ceiling fans in the twin bedroom and living room. The private pool varies between 1.30 and 1.50 meters deep and is 6m long by 4 m wide.
