My father purchased this property in the 1950's as a retreat from his medical practice in Seattle.He and my mother built a 'Tea House' style cabin on the property (available separately for rent). At the time, my father was the only doctor on the Island, and he ended up with many patients on the Island waiting to see 'Doc' when they arrived for their weekend get-aways. Our entire family (now 5 generations) have enjoyed the cabin and property since 1960. In 1999, my husband and I decided to retire to the Island, and custom-designed this Lindal Cedar home. My husband and I lived on Lopez and enjoyed our home for years. I later relocated to my 'other home town' Lake Chelan. My daughter is my property manager.
