My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at the placid serenity of pines. We were able to stay in a cute comfortable room that was just the right size, at a great price. And it was very close to the city center of lake placid !

Great Visit, Great Location

Very nice quiet neighborhood a few minute walk into the Village of Lake Placid. Very clean. Everything was exactly as advertised. Angela was helpful, pleasant and responsive. The property was very nice.

Be aware that this studio is smaller than a typical hotel room, but more private, and in a much more peaceful and convenient setting. Nice to have the kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave.

We walked into town frequently for most of our meals, sightseeing and shopping, walked the beautiful neighborhood for exercise, drove with our boats for a fantastic paddle on beautiful Lower Saranac Lake in the St. Regis Canoe Area.

We would recommend to friends / relatives.

Trip to see autumn leaves

The studio itself was great, the bed a little hard for old bones but not bad. The view out our door was amazing! The street (trail) however to get there was terrible for a small low car like ours. I realize that is not under the owner's control but something needs to be done. If that was fixed, we'd definitely stay there again.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for staying in our studio!
We are pleased to announce that the trail was dragged and leveled off to a nearly perfect road surface last week and it is in driveable condition now.
We enjoyed having you stay here and hope to see you again soon.

We stayed at this property and loved the location. We could walk into town within 5 minutes. The room is a little bit smaller than a hotel room but had ample room for two. The kitchenette was a nice bonus. Everything was very clean!

Quaint Getaway

This was a very nice little rental. It was within walking distance of the village which was awesome. No need to have to worry about parking. It does sit up hill from the village though, so just be aware that the walk is not flat!
The place was very neat and tidy, but definitely small. There is a nice large deck for relaxing and taking in the beauty of the area.
If you are planning on cooking all of your meals here I wouldn't recommend staying here. While there is a fridge, convection oven and single burner hot plate, there isn't a lot of space. We brought a camp grill and were able to cook dinners using that outside, but without it we wouldn't have made as many meals. The space just isn't set up for it unless you just want to eat all microwaveable meals.
The owners were very accommodating and were there to answer any questions we had.
Overall it was very nice and we would recommend it to our friends.
