JOHNSON RANCH COMMUNITY:
Ranking Arizona has voted Johnson Ranch the #1 master planned community in Arizona the past two years. It is a friendly, small, quiet, relatively new community located inside San Tan Valley, Arizona. The community and golf course were built around the year 2000. Johnson Ranch is located close to the shopping and entertainment areas of the greater Phoenix area but away from the constant noise and traffic. Getting around by car can be done quickly and safely due to the great highway and freeway system of the valley. To the west, the nearby San Tan Mountains offer incredibly beautiful sunsets and offer numerous opportunities to visit and hike. To the northeast, Superstition Mountain always delivers with its beautiful vista and is only a short drive away.
THE HOUSE LOCATION IS PERFECT:
The location of our home in the Johnson Ranch community is perfectly located for whatever you may want to do or need. We are situated on the 18th fairway of The Golf Club @ Johnson Ranch. The house sits in a very safe and secure neighborhood that has only one way in and out. This makes for very little traffic and noise. At the same time, the proximity to local businesses is very convenient. These are just a few that are within a 5 minute drive: Walmart Supercenter, Fry’s Grocery Store, Anytime Fitness, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. If family/friends fly into visit, the house is located a short 15 minute drive south of the Mesa Gateway Airport and 50 minutes away from Sky Harbor Airport.
A very short 5 minute walk down the street from our house, allows you choices of using the community amenities. A heated 25 meter pool and spa or you may choose to play a game of tennis on the lighted tennis courts. The community also provides many different activities/amenities for all kinds of tastes: 23 parks with benches, picnic tables, playscapes and volleyball courts, a free pitch and putt golf course and for the anglers there is a catch and release fishing lake.
If golf is your thing, then this is the place for you. Drive around the corner and play The Golf Club @ Johnson Ranch. It is rated as one of the best courses in the southeast valley. If you like variety, there are plenty of golf course’s to choose from. Within 15 minutes, there are 6-8 other course’s to play. A 30 minute drive gives you access to 30+ courses that will appeal to all levels of play and budget.
Opening the front door of our home, reveals a fully furnished open floor plan that has been tastefully decorated to make our guest’s feel very comfortable when they walk in the front door. We have tried to provide everything we could think of that we would expect to see when renting a house. Please check out the pictures that we have provided below of the house. We believe those snapshots speak for themselves. The 1500 sq. ft, 3 bedroom and 2 bath house is exactly the right size for anyone not wanting to spend their fun vacation time trying to keep it clean. A fully furnished kitchen, which opens up nicely to the dining and living rooms, is great for entertaining. The two decks in the backyard give our guests a choice of being under the covered patio or in a more open sun lover’s trellis. Both give outstanding views of the course and mountains.
For those that still want some connection with the outside world, we have equipped the house with Wifi and 2 I-Home's. One in the living/family rooms for our guests to use for music entertainment. The other is in the master bedroom that also acts as a radio/alarm clock. The I-Home docks will charge/play I-Pod, I-Phone, and I-Pads.
My family and I live in a small town in South Dakota along the Missouri river. There are 2 common activities that our family enjoys doing together. One is traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska to watch the Cornhuskers play football, on home football Saturdays. The other is golf. We love spending time together on the golf course. Getting to play really great golf courses is a nice extra bonus.
We traveled to the valley to escape the harsh South Dakota winters and enjoy some golf for several years. On the trip home during our last visit, my wife and I decided we needed to look for a place for us and our family to enjoy. It was not easy finding the home of our dreams, especially with all the amenities that we wanted to have available with our home. We were looking for a home that had golf, swimming, tennis, and shopping all within 5 minutes, plus have easy access to the airport. Once we saw this property, we knew this was one. We have been excited with our purchase ever since. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
We are an average family from the midwest, we wanted a home that fits our personality and needs. The home had all of the important details that we were looking for. The privacy of the neighborhood, it was so quiet and relaxing. The golf course and mountain views from the patio are awesome as the sun sets over the mountains. The friendliness of the people around the area was something that we had not anticipated until we had spent time there, and most importantly, the ability to feel comfortable and feel at home.
