Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)

This cheerful cottage is located across the street from Cana's Feast winery with it's tasty Tuscan style wines and fun Bocce Ball court. The famed Carlton Winemakers Studio is less than a block away and features nearly a dozen boutique wine producers.

The cottage is only short walk from the charming downtown of Carlton, often called the capital of Oregon wine country for it's multitude of wine tasting rooms and cafes. An adjacent state wildlife refuge provides a great place for migratory bird watching.

This cottage is stylishly comfortable with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage furnishings. The house has two bedrooms featuring one queen & two extra long twin beds.

There is also a full kitchen, dinette and deck.

The laundry facilities and covered car parking make it perfect for longer stays. Pet friendly for small well behaved dogs and considerate owners.

The cottage we rented exceeded out expectations in every way. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine in the kitchen from the winery across the street, nice touch. The beds, linens and pillows were the most comfy ever and everything in the cottage looked brand new with the exception of interesting antique pieces scattered throughout. We wanted for nothing in the way of cleaning supplies, laundry facilities inside, beautiful Fiesta ware dishes and a complete kitchen that rivaled our own. Lots of walking opportunities with this quiet country setting. Even picking up the keys was a pleasant surprise, "would you like a glass of wine with that?". Would not consider staying any place else when visiting Carlton and will recommend it to all our friends.

We were very happy with this rental. It was nicely decorated and it had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. The owner was very helpful in answering questions. Carlton is a wonderful town with some great wineries. Our favorite is Carlo and Julian. There are some wonderful restaurants on Main Street to try. I would definitely recommend this property!

My husband and I stayed for 5 days in this immaculate little cottage and never felt so pampered with all the extras provided. Each room is decorated with special touches and furnishings. The bed was so comfy we slept peacefully every night. Full kitchen has good quality dishes and everything you need after a long day wine tasting and you just want to sit around the kitchen table with a home cooked meal. And of course nice wine glasses to fill with the new Oregon wine you tasted and bought! Light and airy, we easily found comfortable places to read and watch sports on cable. Having the use of free wifi is a very generous option when away from home too. Fluffy towels and a really good shower were a plus. Big closets for luggage and hanging clothes kept things tidy while on vacation. It even has a nice washer and dryer! A secure enclosed carport just outside our front door to park our car was really nice. This small house has everything! The back deck off the kitchen was sunny with plenty of room to relax. Our well behaved dog felt right at home when I put her bed down, she even slept thru the night. Just 2 blocks to downtown Carlton was an enjoyable morning walk with our dog and a couple more blocks is a park to run dogs. The location of this special cottage is perfect for wine tasting in downtown Carlton with excellent tasting rooms for the best of Oregon wines!! McMinnville is only minutes away, an easy drive for lots of shopping and restaurants. Favorite wine tasting room is the Seven of Hearts and best food is at The Horse Radish, restaurant wine & cheese bar and Cuvee in Carlton. In McMinnville, our favorite place is the Golden Valley Brewery. Do not miss this little gem of a rental for relaxation, fun times and comfort. It is one of the best we have ever stayed in for sure! Also, the owners are very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable and satisfying.
