VILLA FARMHOUSE with POOL - SLEEPS 8 with 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms

The villa farmhouse is private and secluded in the hills, surrounded by olive groves, woodland and gardens with breath-taking views. The Villa Farmhouse has been beautifully & stylishly rebuilt with traditional features of cotta tiles and chestnut beams. PLUS under floor heating & open fireplace makes this a cosy winter get-away. Sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms(2 doubles & 2 twins), 3 out onto terrace area, 4 bathrooms (2 en suite). Extremely well-equipped kitchen for cookery demonstrations or food lovers. Just a few steps leading up to our favourite summer room - with concertina doors to fold back for that 'Al fresco' feeling for pre-dinner drinks or a relaxing afternoon siesta or admiring the stunning views! Fully functional pizza oven & BBQ; Terrace for dining out; lovely garden grass area with sun loungers and super salt water pool 12 x 6m. Perfect location close to PISA airport (45 mins.), & 1/2 hr. from beach at Viareggio.

The Villa Farmhouse sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms all with electric fans (3 open up onto terrace) and 4 bathrooms (2 en-suite), extremely well-equipped kitchen, up a few steps to the lovely garden room to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. Inside dining room and comfy sitting room with open fireplace. WIFI; Underfloor heating makes this a warm winter break. The villa farmhouse has a pizza oven, BBQ, and super salt water pool. The villa farmhouse is easily reached from Pisa airport, near the famous walled city of Lucca, cultural center steeped in history. Also possible to make fun day trips to the port of Viareggio or the carefully maintained & serviced beaches at Lido de Camaiore. At the center of the great wine making area, with many culinary delights to choose from. Also close enough to Florence and Siena for well worth sightseeing visits.

A perfect holiday home

We stayed at the Farm House of La Pianella for three weeks in August 2010. Having ample experience with renting houses in the summer we can honestly say that we have never stayed in a property that was better equipped and presented. We immediately felt at home in a house that by design and lay-out can easily take eight and also is comfortable when you want to stay home on a rainy day. The property has lovely views, and is generously proportioned throughout. The kitchen has everything a keen cook would be looking for, the top sitting room with its lovely views is absolutely amazing and all bed rooms, with their own bathrooms, are very comfortable. The owners have clearly invested in quality and comfort.
The Farm House offers privacy and is ideally located. Lucca is close by and Viarreggio and Pisa are within easy reach. Want to visit Florence? Take the train from Lucca. Comfortable and there is a regular service.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We had a fabulous week and great weather every day!
I loved the scent of lavender all over the property and all of the extra touches in the farmhouse.
