2 bedroom, 2 bathroom family unit

Location is everything and our unit is in a perfect spot to enjoy everything Whistler has to offer in both summer and winter. Ski in Ski out. Spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit end unit means it's bright and warm during the day. The unit is a 5 minute walk to the Blackcomb village, Lost Lake and the Chateau Whistler Golf Course. Forest Trails is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the heart of the Whistler Village or you can ride the complimentary shuttle. An entrance to the Whistler trail network is accoss the street for a short ski to the lifts in the winter and a walk to Lost Lake in the summer. If you are a tennis enthusiast you need only to cross the path to reach public tennis courts. This is a very comfortable end unit with wood accents, Gas Fire place, free wifi, washer/dryer and an open kitchen. Enjoy a hockey game post ski on one of the two flat screen tvs or have a dinner party with our open kitchen plan. The unit has 2 free parking spots and there is storage in the enclosed garage. The unit has been designed with a family in mind and is great for a family or multi-family getaway. The very spacious main room is great to entertain or relax after a fun day at Whistler. The ensuite master bedroom has a new king size bed, closet, dresser and flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a double below and a single up top and is accross from the 2nd bathroom. The main room has a new flip couch that changes into a queen size bed. In addition there is a Graco pack and play for children needing a crib and a high chair for the table. There is also a jogging stroller if you aren't able to bring your own. There are also sleds for older children. The unit has new linens, towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The dining table can comfortably seat 6 or pull it out with the extra leaves for a larger group and there is additional seating at the kitchen bar. Both bathrooms were completely remodeled in the fall of 2012. Our unit has its own garage so there is secure ski and bike storage. Your bikes aren't kept in a room accessible to all the hotel guests.

IDEAL BASE FOR SUMMER ACTIVITIES (MTB)

4 of us (2 couples), stayed in the property for 3 weeks over June/July for a mountain biking trip and thought the accommodation was absolutely fantastic. We had a shortlist of about 6 properties in the area, but settled on this because it was the largest, offered great value and had a garage for our bikes. We weren't disappointed! Overall the accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. The bedrooms were large, were recently decorated, and had very comfy beds with stacks of linen. Both had their own bathrooms (one ensuite and one across the hall), both of which had been recently refurbished to a very high standard - the showers were excellent! The lounge was huge; 2 large sofas and a recliner, plus large dining table - plenty of room for us to spread out (as 2 couples we didn't want to be cramped onto 1 sofa!). The kitchen had everything we needed, including a good coffee machine and a blender.
During our stay we had a few days of torrential rain plus 10 days of +80F. The accommodation coped with it all: there was an entrance hall with cupboard and boot trays for wet jackets and boots, and a patio with gas barbeque for when the sun shone. Despite one day of around 95F the house stayed lovely and cool - no need for air con.
One big bonus for us was the garage - as we had 4 bikes wanted somewhere secure to store them. This worked perfectly - plenty of room for our bikes, plus we could leave all our muddy/dusty kit in there and keep the house clean & tidy!
Location-wise it was about a 10min walk into the centre of town, which was lovely on a sunny evening as the walk offered spectacular views across to the mountains. On the wet days when we didn't fancy the walk, the Upper Village complex was only a 2 min walk away, which had a bars, cafes, restaurant, plus small supermarket, bike shop and twice-weekly Farmers' Market. And if that wasn't an option there was always the village shuttle bus, which ran very regularly.
The location was also very quiet with very little traffic.
The owner has put a lot of effort into making this into a home away from home and has succeeded - it is very well maintained, has been refurbished to a high standard and has everything you need for a great vacation. The owner was also very helpful and prompt with our many questions... and was was very helpful (and understanding!) when we lost the code to the front door!
When we return to Whistler we will stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

GREAT LOCATION AND LOADS OF SPACE

As 2 couples we really appreciated the convenience of this clean and well maintained property. It is well equippped. We have rented here both in summer and winter and will choose to return. Quick response to any rental enquiries so I am sure that if there were issues [which we didn't have ] they would take care of them promptly.
