The property is a Grade 11 listed building, full of charm and character. Its semi-rural position makes it very desirable as a holiday base. From the property there is a lovely view over the countryside and the sea in the distance. The town centre and sea front are approximately 1.5 miles away. The back door leads into a spacious kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. The comfy lounge has TV, DVD and digi box. Dining room has table and six chairs. The bathroom, off the lounge, has bath with shower, wash basin and sink. Both bedrooms have superb views over the garden and surrounding country side. The main bedroom has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. There is an attic room with limited head room furnished with 2 single mattresses, suitable for older children (the access is not suitable for young children). Outside The garden to the front of the property is shared with neighbours.

Exmouth lies at the mouth of the river Exe and has 2 miles of golden sand with dunes to explore. A nature reserve spreads across a large part of the estuary, and is home to many birds and other wildlife. It is also at the start of the Heritage Coastal Path, a coastal and cliff top walk that takes you all the way to Lyme Regis. From Exmouth a short ferry ride will take you to Starcross and Dawlish where you can walk to Powderham Castle and waterside pubs. The town has a wide variety of shops and an indoor market. There are a number of parks in and around the town. There are numerous sporting activities you can enjoy during your stay. Watersports include windsurfing, kite surfing, jet ski, wake boarding and water skiing. Exmouth has a railway station, and a short ride will take you to the city of Exeter with its many attractions. The airport at Exeter is about 8 miles by car.
