Felt like Home
The home is warm, inviting and well-furnished including very comfortable patio furniture. We found nothing lacking in kitchen equipment, including such thoughtful items as travel mugs and coolers (which we gratefully used during a bus tour to Mexico) and a plethora of brochures and magazines with info on all the local attractions and activities.
The neighbourhood is friendly and exceptionally quiet with a lovely street view of the Santa Rita Mountains. There is an abundance of walking and biking trails surrounding the neighbourhood, and the entire community; two bikes with helmets are available for use. and the several recreation centres in Green Valley are all within a ten minute (or less) drive, offer a variety of activities and have very well equipped gyms.
We have rented with VRBO for many years, staying at places where the owner claimed “well equipped” only to find a precious few plates/utensils and little in the way of cookware. This home is equipped to “live in” right down to twist ties in the catch all drawer. We felt at home here and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Lots of supplies to work with right off the mark like garbage bags, soaps, etc. which we gladly over replaced just because we did not have to go thru the hassle of getting stuff the first few days we were here.
Our host has been most accommodating and has been quick to respond to any questions/concerns. We would highly recommend this vacation rental, a great place to spend the winter.
