Flisvos includes one independent stone-built residence named Votsalo. Residence is fully equipped and arranged in two levels on the inside.

Residence provides two bedrooms (first bedroom has a double bed and the second one has two single beds, both bedrooms with a private bathroom), sitting room, dining room and a walled-in fully equipped kitchen.

On the outside there are spacious yards with gardens as well as porches with a unique view to the sea.

If you like walking, you have the opportunity to try a relaxing 1.5 km walk along the beach towards Panagia Choni, where Panagia Mirtidiotisa chapel (celebrations on September 24th) is located.

The Archaeological Museum of the area is located in the capital of Kissamos province, just 5 km away.

There are daily cruises departing from Kastelli's port (7 km) for Gramvousa, where you can find the old Venetian fortress, and the breathtaking exotic beach of Balos (Tigani bay, tropic water lagoon with white-pink sand).

Just 15 km to the north west you can visit Falasarna, a long white-sand beach and an important archaeological site (ancient Falasarna). The area is a popular tourist destination.

Continuing south west we can find Sfinari, the beaches around Amigdalokefali and the marvellous beach of Agios Mironas. Towards the same direction and just a few kilometres away we can find Chrisoskalitisa Monastery (celebrations on August 15th), built on a rocky hill above.

Don't forget to visit Elafonisi, where you can find a unique pink sandy beach and a cedar forest (45 km).

The exceptional road network of the surrounding area offers a wide selection of destination choices covering all demands conventional or alternative, in order to explore the numerous beach sites as well as the densely populated hinterland of our prefecture.

Flisvos is located in Nopigia, a beautiful seaside village on Kissamos bay, just 5 km east of Kastelli, the province's capital, and 30 km west of Chania, the prefecture's capital.

  • A welcoming package will wait you in the house consisting of traditional products (a bottle of olive oil, a bottle of raki, a bottle of local wine) as well as a breakfast (natural juices, bacon, cheese, coffee, milk, marmalade butter, etc)

    Payments procedure:

    a) a 25% of the total rental cost is required to make the booking official

    b) a 50% deposit will be required one month before your arrival and

    c) the remaining 25% can be paid upon arrival.

    Also the price for one extra person is 15 euros per day.

Our Wonderful Stay At Flisvos Villa – Oct. 3-24/11

My Husband and one year old daughter visited Crete and stayed at the Villa for 3 weeks. It was the perfect place for us and our daughter and just steps away from the beach off our back balcony. The water was crystal clear and a bit cool; the beach was a mix of sand and round rocks and very lovely on a sunset evening. The beautiful stone house was equipped with everything needed for doing our own home cooking, which we did a lot of, often with great advice from Ria!! Our daughter took her first steps on the front patio and practiced walking around in circles on the lawn in front of the Villa.

We couldn’t have hoped for better hosts, Ria and her family were just wonderful and we really enjoyed meeting them. When we first arrived we were welcomed with their own home made olive oil and raki. Also, bread and other foods were supplied to get us going upon our arrival. Ria also provided us with a much needed highchair and crib for our daughter. We were also introduced to the “Breadman” who was a most wonderful person and who delivered fresh baked bread and pastries every morning, 6 days out of 7. These goodies were absolutely delicious and we looked forward every morning to the “Breadman’s” delivery.

The town of Kasteli, was really friendly and a wonderful place to get everything that we needed. It was only abut a 5 minute drive from the Villa where we could find great meat markets and butchers, fish markets, and super markets with excellent local produce, cheeses, wine and olive oil.

The Flisvos Villa is a super place to go for a holiday and we would highly recommend this as a vacation destination. Thank you again Ria and family for a wonderful stay!!

PS: Keep your windows open and enjoy the wonderful sounds of the Mediterranean Sea.

Unforgetable vacation

We were for the first time 10 days in June, on Crete, beautiful and very interesting island with many ancient and hystirical monuments as well as nature beauty.

But the house of Ria and Eftixies was really magnificient. Diner on the terrace where you can see only sea, sky and stars and only hear the sound of waves is really unforgetable. Very specious, well equiped and beautifull house,together with hospitality of owners are the reasons that it was one of the most beautiful holiday we had .
We hope we will come again.
