Enjoy all the comforts of home in this clean, cozy place while enjoying beautiful views. Backyard invites entertaining with barbeque grill and plenty of space to play. This home is fully equipped to meet your every need in the kitchen and the formal dining room. Master bedroom and bath is quiet and private with cable TV. All bedrooms have pillow top mattresses and are delightfully decorated to soothe you to sleep. 63 inch flat-screen TV with WIFI and cable provided

About Mary Lynne or Mike Bachman

We are the Bachmans, Mike & Mary Lynne: married for 34 years and still going strong. Both of us were raised in Ridgecrest, Caifornia where we still reside as full time residents. Mike is a dentist and I, his wife, am a dental hygienist; previouly a busy homemaker. We have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren with numbers 5 & 6 coming. 'La Casa de Rancho Bernardo,' as we affectionately refer to it, is our escape home. We hope you will enjoy our home as a respite for rejuvenation, relaxation and fun memories. Blessings to you.

Why Mary Lynne or Mike Bachman chose Rancho Bernardo

The calming effect of our backyard view and sunsets, golfing opportunities, beach and amazing year-round weather lured us. Additionally, having the Rancho Bernardo Inn (where we are members) steps away from our front door makes us feel like we are at a resort! After traveling down highway 15 to San Diego for years, as our children worked their way through college, we determined that this is the place for us. It is our hope and plan to make Rancho Bernardo our full time residence and Ridgecrest our part-time residence in the not so distant future.

What makes this house unique

This quiet little neighborhood with well manicured homes is located near everything you could need or want: grocery shopping, mall shopping, health care, wineries, sports venues, amusement parks, beach, and even a resort! However, when we are at home, taking in the serenity of the views, we are renewed with energy and vitality even when we are gardening or doing the dishes at the kitchen sink.

Great place to stay in San Diego Area

We stayed in this property for a week. We have a family with four kids and there was plenty of room and the owners were gracious enough to provide items for the kids to play with and other helpful items. The place as clean and in a nice area. It was easy to get around to all the San Diego destinations from this location. We would stay here again if we visited and we would surely recommend this property to anyone visiting the San Diego area.

Beautiful house backs onto golf course. Three bedrooms with double beds, two nice baths, well maintained, decent well equipped kitchen -a great place to stay. Short walk to Rancho Bernardo Inn and it's nice restaurant. Owner pleasant and easy to work with. Thumbs up. Only complaint - the light switches don't work in an intuitive way - but no big deal . . .

Our whole experience from booking until leaving was perfect at this home. The owners are wonderful to work with and the house was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and well stocked. Our whole family loved it and we will definitely stay here next time we are in San Diego.

House had a great location overlooking golf course with nice patio area. House was well decorated, very well equipped, nice and clean. The owners have also provided toys and beach towels for use at beach. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

After spending two wonderful weeks at this "home away from home," our comment is WOW!! The property is spotlessly maintained and provides all you will need for a pleasant, restful retreat. There is convenient freeway access to all of the amenities San Diego has to offer. The Rancho Bernardo Inn is just minutes away where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The lovely pool and tennis courts are less than a mile away. We located restaurants nearby as well as convenient shopping. The description is entirely accurate. You won't be disappointed. The owner is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have (though we doubt there will be any problems). We will recommend this property to our friends and relatives visiting San Diego.
