Classic Bar Harbor cottage within walking distance to all in-town activities, featuring oak floors and leaded glass windows. Brand new furnishing for 2011 season (beds/mattresses/linens/towels/sofas/rugs/kitchen wares/Sony flat screen TV etc). 3 bedrooms, wrought iron beds and full bath on second floor. Full kitchen with bar/2 stools, dining room, half bath, sun porch and open living room on first floor. Outside offers a private flagstone patio with dining set, adirondack chairs and gas grill. Off street parking on a quiet shaded street. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker. The Shore Path starts at the end of the next street and every Sunday the Farmer's Market, featuring local fruits/vegs, flowers, cheese/breads is located at the other end of the street. Prime location for a Bar Harbor vacation; walk to everything in town (shops, restaurants, museums, local kids swimming area, ball fields and town pier).

Rents on a weekly basis; (3:00pm check-in and 10:00am check-out). Note revised 2012 rates.

About Jacqueline Smith

I am 41 years old and I purchased Oliver Cottage in 2005. I lived in the home with my family for six years before purchasing another house in the same neighborhood in 2011. I furnished the cottage in that same year for the weekly rental season.

I appreciate the location of the cottage and the quality of the neighborhood; its quiet, safe and still in-town within walking distance to everything. The house is very clean and well built, featuring oak floors throughout, leaded glass windows, and a new energy efficient Buderus heating system.

What makes this house unique

The Shore Path is just around the corner and the Sunday Farmers' Market is on the end of the next street. The entrance to Acadia National Park's 'Loop Road', including Sand Beach and Compass Harbor is a direct route from lower Main Street where the cottage is located (a couple miles).
