Cottage with 6 bedrooms (including huge loft), 3 bathrooms (sleeps up to 16)

This 5,000 sq. ft., 6 bedroom, 4 bath very well maintained cottage has a spacious 75' of PRIVATE SANDY FRONTAGE on Crystal Lake. If this cottage is too large for your needs, check out our other cottages. More information is available on VRBO or by clicking the website link.

The cottage, built less than 10 years ago, is clean and very spacious, easily sleeps 16, and has plenty of parking and room to spread out and enjoy your vacation.

There are three different levels to this home. The first level includes the main living area, with complete kitchen, living, dining, sitting area, laundry room, as well as three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the these bedrooms is the master suite, which includes its own bathroom with walk in shower.

The second level consists of two additional bedrooms, which have a queen bed in each, as well as another bathroom with walk in shower. Also on this level is the executive office complete with internet and additional LCD TV, as well as an additional kitchen.

Finally, the loft above the upper garage is the perfect hideaway for the kids and includes three bunk beds (queen bottom/twin top), its own bathroom, and large LED TV. The garage also has a ping pong table for those family tournaments.

The beach and amenities - a large sandy beach area offers plenty of room to play and enjoy the water. A boat and wave runner lifts are provided for an additional refundable security deposit. Firewood is also provided for fire pit at no cost. Three kayaks are also provided (please bring your own life jackets) for your enjoyment.

The cottage is located on the north/northwest side of Crystal Lake and faces almost due south, therefore, when it is hot out, the prevailing winds are generally present to help keep you cool. Also because of this location, we have never had issues with mosquitoes. While the cottage is across the road from the lake, we actually have come to prefer this, as there is plenty of room to enjoy the beach, fire pit and play games.

Our property is less than one mile to the beginning of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You can spend your entire week seeking out new and isolated beaches, trails, lakes, and dunes, all along the way to the popular dune climb attraction which is about a 20 minute drive from the cottage. Frankfort and Beulah are each about a 10 minute drive from the cottage as well.

Located on the Northwest Shore of Crystal Lake amongst other very nice homes, and located about 2 miles from Point Betsie, one mile from the start of the Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore, and about 10 minute drive from either Frankfort or Beulah.

Our family of four (kids aged 9 and 11) enjoyed an INCREDIBLE weeks vacation at this rental in August! The listing description of the rental was accurate, and the photos show how beautiful and spacious this house is. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owners are very friendly and had great information to share about the area/location. We would totally recommend this property to friends and family. We'd LOVE to go back!! The house was very large in accommodating our small group; could easily have had a few more families and still be very comfortable, as it is so spacious. The views are incredible, the beach is very clean, and they provide beach chairs as well as kayaks that the kids used. We took many day trips to Frankfort, Beulah, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leelanau, and The Cherry Bowl Drive-In is a short drive away. This property is beautiful and we so appreciate that we were able to rent from such great owners! Thanks for a WONDERFUL vacation!!
