It is two doors down from our other VRBO rental (#157460) and includes a sandy beach area and dock and hoist for your boat. Large living area on the upper level, includes fully equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms with new carpet and tile, will include new 46' LED TV, excellent views of the lake from nearly every room. Enjoy meals or sunning from the upper large deck w/composite decking making it comfortable on the bare feet. The master bedroom is also located upstairs as is a larger master bathroom.
The lower level includes two bedrooms along with double beds in each bedroom. A full bathroom is also on this level. Additional TV in lower bedroom for kids calm down time or to hook up and play games on as well when parents need down time.
The beach and amenities - a sandy beach area with stairs to the water, boat hoist is provided, firewood is also provided for fire pit at no cost. Two kayaks are also provided (please bring your own PFDs).
The cottage is located on the north/northwest side of Crystal Lake and faces almost due south, therefore, when it is hot out, the prevailing winds are generally present to help keep you cool. Also because of this location, we have never had issues with mosquitoes. There are no steps to the beach, yet, the cottage is across the road from the lake. We actually prefer this, as there is more room to enjoy the beach, fire pit and play games.
The property is less than one mile to the beginning of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You can spend your entire week seeking out new and isolated beaches, trails, lakes, and dunes, all along the way to the popular dune climb attraction which is about a 20 minute drive from the cottage.
