Photos and Description of the La Spezia vacation villa rental 5 Bedroom Villa located in a village near the CinqueTerre.

Villa Chiara is a comfortable family summer home just 10 kms. outside of La Spezia in Ricco’del Golfo and on the road leading to the Cinque Terre. The villa is on a 15 acre estate of vineyards and forests and within walking distance to the local village.The home is furnished throughout with very nice antique furnishings that give the home a certain charm .The bedrooms in particular have a cosy and romantic feel with the antique lace pieces, wall hangings, and persian rugs. From the house there is a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and the town below.The villa is built on two floors.Ground Floor:Entering the villa through the beautiful stain glassed doors is the foyer which is decorated with paintings done by local artists,then there is the living room/dining room which is fairly large and has a big fireplace in the corner. The ceiling frescoes in this room that date back to the beginning of the 1900’s are very special. Last is the fully equipped kitchen.

Ricco' del Golfo is the name of the local village within walking distance of the villa. The village provides shops such as a bakery shop,butcher,pharmacy,news stand,and grocery store. There are also a couple of restaurants and bars to enjoy. The village is also just along the Aurelia road which takes tourists directly to the CinqueTerre in about 30 minutes or into the main city of La Spezia in about 10 minutes. From La Spezia it easy to reach many local beach localities by boat such as Lerici, Portovenere and Tellaro and the CinqueTerre may be reached by train or by ferry. The city in itself offers great shopping,museums and good food. For the more avid hikers there is also a hiking trail that leads from the town of Casella (a fraction of Ricco' del Golfo) and leads to the CinqueTerre. The hike is a couple of hours long.
