Award winning Maple Cabin located on one of the most saught after lakes in Northern Wisconsin, Star Lake! Maple Cabin is nestled along the beautiful shoreline of Star Lake. Your home away from home is appointed with the finest furnishings and is located just feet from the shoreline of Star Lake! Enjoy your enormous permanant pier and pontoon boat (available for rent). Maple comes complete with indoor/outdoor furnishings. Outdoor furninshings include: Pontoon Boat, Large pier, sun beds, sauna, grill, outdoor fireplace, fire pit, and all other necessary furninshings for a dream vacation in Wisconsin's Northwoods. Indoor furnishings Include: Chef's kitchen complete with: Viking range/stove, Sub-zero custom refridgerator, ice maker, capuccino/espresso machine, and all the necessary pots, pans, utensils, etc. Maple Cabin was designed and built by two of Wisconsin's finest interior designers and architechts. Every detail is custom and no detail has been overlooked. This 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage is perfect for a week, weekend, or however long your stay is desired. About Paul Hackbarth

My name is Paul Hackbarth, and my wife and I, were fortunate enough to become the owners of Maple Cabin! Our Family has enjoyed the Northwoods our entire life, and acquiring Maple Cabin has now allowed us to be able to share what we love with friends, families, and others who enjoy the finer things in the Northwoods! We take every advantage we can to get up Maple Cabin and enjoy every amenity of the cabin and the surroundings. We hope that you will take the opportunity to fall in love with what he already have. We look forward to meeting you in the near future!

Maple cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a clean, quiet lake, it is the perfect Northwoods getaway. It is impeccably clean and has every amenity you could possibly need. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful with any questions or advice. There ware great hiking trails close to the cabin and eagles and loons could be seen and heard while enjoying the day from the pier. I highly recommend a stay at Maple cabin, I look forward to a visit there in each season in the future!

Maple Cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Maple Cottage. The cottage is very special - so warm and cozy, and it's beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home. Loved cooking in and sitting by the fireplace sharing our days experience or watching a movie. The beds were super comfy for a perfect nights sleep. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and stone patio where we watched eagles put on a show over the lake and listened to the loons. One of our highlights were seeing mother bear and her 3 cubs one evening on the roadside coming back from town by Vinchi's restaurant. Wow, that was really exciting! The lake is simply beautiful and the property and surrounding area is breathtaking. We visited our favorite haunts, did a little shopping, took a few road trips and just relaxed. Couldn't have asked for more, so thank you for sharing your cottage - our vacation was fantastic! The only downside was packing up to leave. Hope to be back soon. Take care.
