The south facing apartment is on the second floor of the recently redeveloped Hotel du Globe building and has a luxury, contemporary feel. The large open plan living area is light and airy with spectacular views down the valley to Mont-Blanc and across to the Argentiere glacier. We can arrange a chalet girl for you, but if you choose to be self-catering then everything is set up to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible from the large comfortable beds equipped with high-quality linen to the boot-dryers to ensure that your toes are toasty and warm in the morning. The kitchen is kept stocked with basic cooking essentials and logs are provided for the woodburner. Children are welcome and the apartment is equipped with a large selection of books, toys and games to entertain them. The excellent Panda ski club (always lots of English children) and the nursery slope is just a 5 minute walk away. Nannies / babysitters can be arranged.

The location could not be more convenient. The apartment is located in the centre of the village just 5 minutes walk from the lift station for the Grands- Montets ski area with its world renowned runs and off-piste skiing. The ski school meeting point and the sunny nursery slopes are adjacent to the lift station. For those who do not wish to walk, or for access to the other 5 ski areas in the valley, the ski-bus stops outside the building and the train station is opposite. A variety of shops, bars and restaurants are on the doorstep and Argentiere's well stocked supermarket is 200m away. Chamonix with its sports facilities, large indoor pool, cinema and fabulous shopping is ten minutes away by bus, car or train. Geneva airport is around an hour and ten minutes drive which makes the apartment the ideal location for a weekend getaway.

  • The beds are all 6 foot 6 inches long to accommodate even the tallest guests in comfort. They all have the zip and link system to allow them to be configured as either doubles or singles. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms. One bedroom has french doors onto a small balcony.
