Great Get Away Home

Great get away home, enjoy setting on the front or back porch for quiet meditation or to watch the deer in the adjoining lot next door. This is a 3-bedroom home that has been newly decorated and is fully furnished for your enjoyment. This home has hardwood floors throughout, with throw rugs in most rooms. The master bedroom has a private bath and a queen size bed. The other two bedrooms are fitted with full-size beds and share a full-bath located in the hallway.The home has central heat and air, and a two car attached garage and a full basement that is furnished with washer and dry. This home is located on a 1.5 acre lot with lots of room for outside play, family gatherings and cook-outs (large barrel grill). The back yard includes plenty of parking, in addition to the two car attached garage.

Visit downtown Louisville (20 minutes away) and Churchill Downs ( 15-20 minutes) With so much to do in Louisville: Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Slugger Museum, The Louisville Zoo, The Louisville Science Center and IMAX theatre, The Belle Of Louisville, The New KFC Yum Center which is host to lots of events, Bourbon distillery tours, Valhalla Golf Club which has hosted the Senior PGA and was designed by Jack Nicklaus, Kentucky State Fair are just to name a few. Louisville also offers history buffs Lewis and Clark Locust Grove, Lincoln's birthplace, Zachary Taylor National Cemetery and many more historic sites!

Horseshoe Casino and Zapo's Shoes Outlet is also 25 miles away.

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. Such a beautiful area. We enjoyed sitting out side-thanks for having outdoor furniture. It was wonderful for our family to be outside (in the rain) and talk. After being in snow covered mountains, it was pure joy to walk barefoot in the grass.

This was our first time using VRBO. It was a very good experience..Four of use used the home as an extra home because we were staying with family in the area.
The owners were very good in getting us the info we needed before we arrived. The house is an older home but very nice and clean. (Just what I was looking for). We would absolutely consider this property again and would recommend it to friends.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
