Beautiful & Quiet Waterfront, 20 min from Manhattan by Car. Free Parking & WIFI.

You won't believe how beautiful and serene this waterfront community is unless you had been here. It's the best kept secret area in NYC. It's very quiet. It doesn't have the typical crazy traffic of NYC and yet you're closed to everything by car. Forget about driving 6 hour round trip to the Hampton from Manhattan, instead in 20 min, you would feel like you're on vacation arriving to a waterfront resort. The house was built in 2006 with high ceilings, wood floors, granite counter-top kitchen and bathrooms, Stainless Steel Appliances and large windows and doors for the view of the water. The owner also hired a professional, home theater engineer to install the surround theater sound with HD Plasma Flat Screen TV in the living room. Balcony, dining room, living room and kitchen all have a spectacular view of the bridge, water and garden. There is also a Boston Piano by Steinway, so bring your music books. #15A Bus Stop is two blocks away, 20 min bus ride to #7 Subway Main Street Station in Flushing(Chinatown). After Hurricane Sandy, electricity came back on Nov 2, 2012. Luckily, there is no water damage to the house. Even the basement was dry during the storm.

I would encourage anyone looking to spend a weekend in the city to rent this house. The owner is extremely nice and helpful, and the house/grounds are well kept and clean. Being so close to public transportation is very convenient, and noodle town(Flushing) is only ten minutes away. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

My children and I live in many different states and my Mom lives in Queens. It is very hard to get everyone together. This year my Mom celebrates her 100th birthday so it was a command performance for all. The beautiful home you see in these photos was the perfect answer for us. We had enough space for everyone to stay together in style. We all had beautiful bedrooms, clean bathrooms, fantastic entertainment system, large dining room and FULLY EQUIPPED kitchen. In addition there was an amazing porch and backyard with a waterfront and bridge view. Who could ask for more. Grace is the consummate host, attending to our every need. This was our first home rental experience so we were very wary of what to expect. I highly recommend the home rental location.

This house worked out perfectly my family! It's a big, yet cozy place
and Grace was a very gracious and attentive host. She was quick to
offer any help getting to know her neighborhood (even taking my
husband on a driving tour!), printing up parking information for trips
into the city, making sure we had everything we needed, etc. The house
was well-stocked with linens, had very comfortable beds, a great
kitchen loaded with every gadget you can think of, big tv and music
set up - anything you might need. And even though it was cold, we got out on the deck a few times to admire the view (our sons loved seeing
the boats!)

We had a really wonderful Christmas week!

Awesome stay!!!

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous home in Whitestone, NY. We rented the home for 5 nights during the week of Thanksgiving. My family and I enjoyed every minute. The home is exactly how the pictures describe. The view is amazing, rooms are spacious, the entire house is extremely clean, and the owner was SO helpful and kind. She was like family! And of course, how can I forget her lovable dog. She was a delight to have around. The neighborhood is beautiful, ample parking and the location is near all major stores and supermarkets. We went into the city and it was literally right over the bridge. A very easy drive. I loved my stay here and I would definitely rent this home again!! I will be back soon...Thank you for everything :)

The house was great and we will consider returning again for getogether . For the entire 3 days we enjoyed our stay. I recommend this place to anyone. The owner was good and kind with us, and i loved the puppy owner has.
