About Steven Milliken
I grew up in Eastham and live just down the road. I love the Cape and it’s beauty. The scenic outlooks, beaches and the ocean. I enjoy nature and love to visit natural habitats with its wildlife. While growing up I worked on party fishing boats and then later became a captain running boats. A lifetime on the sea I go whale watching with the Dolphin Fleet and do this to this day. I love the water and often go boating privately and go diving for lobsters or just for fun. I travel when I can and enjoy spending time with my family when possible.
Steven Milliken purchased this townhome in 2011
Why Steven Milliken chose Eastham
The property was once owned by my family in the 1800’s as a farm and then later sold. A motel was built. Over time it was bought and sold until one day it was torn down and was going to become a large condominium complex. I hope to someday pass this on to family members returning it back to the family to enjoy.
I had the opportunity to buy the property and stop it from what I thought would not be in the local communities interest, (who wants a bunch of condos in a small quiet town?) so I purchased the property and finished off the first part of the property. I would like to add to the property something that would benefit the town and keep a country look for this location while giving renters a one of a kind experience while staying here, giving a Cape feeling but with a modern, luxurious comfort for the tenant.
What makes this townhome unique
The property is centrally located in Eastham 2470 route 6 (as well as Cape Cod). Multiple beaches are with 4-5 minutes of the house. This includes the many bay beaches, 2 ocean beaches (known as some of the top 10 beaches in the world) as well as a few ponds. (All good for swimming and fishing) The windmill is located right across the street. During the summer there are multiple events from live music (ends at 8pm) to craft shows. They are family oriented and free for the general public. 2 local stores, a deli, library, post office as well bus stop all within walking distance. Also within ½ mile is the bike trail (Cape Cod rail trail) and national seashore visitor center (exhibits, walking and bike trails) both Chatham and Provincetown are about 20-30 minutes away (20-25 miles). The house itself is new in 2012 and exquisite for Eastham, it has a bright, enriching Cape Cod beach feel but with the luxury of modern needs, with central air, wifi and full kitchen to cheery rooms each with modern flat screen tv/ dvd players. Just compare properties and see for yourself, although being a little bias I think one of the nicest rentals in Eastham!
