Kahurangi National Park, and the Nelson Lakes are also close by. Explore the local beaches, swim in the pure Lee River, or at the stunning Kaiteretere Beach. Nearby is the Mapua Village and wharf, with shops and award - winning restaurants and wineries. Visit the farmers’ and crafts markets at the weekend, the wineries or arts and crafts studios of the bountiful Moutere area.
