This apartment is located in an 19th century building on Avenue Gabriel which is parallel to the famous Avenue des Champs Elysées and separated from it only by a beautiful garden.
The apartment is a two minute walk from the Grand Palais museum and a five minute walk from Elysée (the Presidential Palace - the French equivalent of the White House).
The Avenue des Champs Elysées is flanked by the Place de la Concorde on the one side and the Arch of Triumph on the other.

This light-filled and quiet two bedroom apartment is on the ground floor and has a small private garden. You would never know you are just off the Champs Elysées in the heart of Paris.
On entering the apartment, the first thing one sees is the sun embedded in marble in the entrance floor.
Immediately to the left is the dining area overlooking the garden, on the right, the fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances including coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, a gaz range and convector oven, and lots of counter space.
The large sun-filled living room has a double window as well as glass-paned double doors leading to the private garden. There is a comfortable couch and antique French tables, chairs, armoire and commode. There are paintings, sculptures, a kilim, and the original 18th century gold framed mirror above the fireplace.
The garden has a round wooden garden table with a blue umbrella and garden chairs. There is a low stone wall, and the garden is densely planted with trees, shrubs, rose bushes, lavender and assorted flowers.
In the master bedroom which overlooks the courtyard, there is a 16th century tapestry on one wall, and lots of cupboard and closet space. There are also good bedside reading lights.
In the second bedroom which also overlooks the courtyard, there is a painting above the bed, cupboard space….
The bathroom has turquoise colored tiles and a bathtub with shower. Here too you will find the washing machine and dryer. The WC is separate.
The closest Metro stations are: Champs Elysées Clémenceau or Franklin Roosevelt.
I am a sculptor and I live in Berkeley, California.

This is the apartment of my parent that I have inherited
Feel like being in a house with a garden . Walk few feet across a park and here are the Champs Elysees!
This 18th century building has high ceilings
I stayed here for 7 days with my husband and sister and it was perfect. We had to visit the Sial Food show and it was so easy to get to from this location by the metro & RER. I have visited paris before and stayed in the area of Les Halles but this location is a must. Location was clean, safe & close to attractions, shops, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, taxis & metro. The RER station is also close enough if you need to travel on this. If you don't want to take the metro you can walk to Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomph, & many more main sight seeing places. Apartment was exactly as pictures say and better. Had everything you need.( it was a home away from home) The owner Adine was easy to deal with and very helpful. We we're meet at the apartment promptly & explained everything from how the apartment works to how to get around by Matilde and I must thank her for everything that she did for us. So a big thank you to Adine & Matilde for everything. This is the apartment I would return to when visiting again. So Thank you ,Thank you & Thank you once again :-)
Just a perfect apartment in the eighth Arrondissement, a couple of blocks away from the Champs-Elysee. Clean, quiet, safe - stayed there with my wife and two kids and had a blast. The apartment is a great base from which to see so much of Paris, with excellent bakeries, the Seine, and the Eifel tower a short walk away.
This apartment was such a perfect place for us to stay in Paris. Three of us stayed there and one of my friends is physically challenged and unable to climb stairs. The apartment worked out perfectly, as it was ground floor and had a walk in shower. The owner was always very responsive when asking questions and setting things up. The apartment is nicely equipped, especially the kitchen. It was all we could ask for!
I stayed here with my two teenage children on our first trip to Paris. The location could not be more perfect. It is set back just off of Champs Elysees behind a small park. This keeps it generally quiet from traffic noise (though you can hear the metro underneath a little). It is a convenient walk to the markets, cafe's, the Louvre, The Eiffel Tower and the Arc D' Tiromphe.
The apartment itself on on the first floor with a wonderful outdoor patio which is perfect for breakfast or just relaxing. The bathroom is spacious with a rain shower and has a washer and dryer (a must for those with kids). It is well decorated, with enough kitchen utensils to make a meal and a spacious (by European standards) refrigerator. If I had one complaint it would be that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is a bit hard for my taste, but I absolutely loved this house.
Finally, it was a pleasure to work with Adine, Matilde, and David. There were helpful, prompt and made the whole process easy and stress free.
Thank you so much!
My husband myself and our three boys just spent an amazing week in this apartment.First thing LOCATION,simply amazing, you couldn't get better than this if you tried. We loved having breakfast each morning in the private garden it was pure paradise. The apartment itself is so spacious with everything you could possibly need.the Hostess/ owner is simply amazing she sent me detailed emails with everything that we would need for a smooth transaction which was greatly appreciated, her assistant is a delightful young lady that actually got us pastries which was such a sweet touch.I could probably keep going but that all the room I have,I will come again in a heart beat.so sad we are leaving
We had a perfect stay! The apartment is beautiful and couldn't be more perfectly located. Walking distance to all the sights. My husband has some mobility issues, and the walk-in shower was perfect for us. Getting in and out of the building was also easy.
I didn't want to leave.
Our host was so helpful. On our first night in Paris, joy Husbands crown fell out, and we needed a dentist. Our host made all the arrangements and by the time we went to bed, he had all his teeth back. What could have been disastrous is just a funny story.
Could not recommend this place any more highly.
