Our private villa overlooks the golf course & ocean. The villa has a 48 sq metre sitting/dining room, new kitchen and bathrooms. The large veranda provides shade & space for our sunbeds. The garden has flowering bushes. Amarilla Golf is a spectacular course offering challenges to all standards of golfer. Small shops & restaurants, the coast and marina are a 10 minute walk away.

Major Entertainment: Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Beaches, night life, restaurants, cinemas. Designer shopping at El Ducqe area. All 20 mins drive El Teide National Park 1 hours drive wonderful day outing. Mercedes mountains likewise. Water and bird theme parks 20 minutes drive. Go-cart racing 5 minutes drive. El Medano is a superb wind surfing area that has hosted international competitions -10 minutes drive. LORO PARQUE & BOTANIC GARDENS IN NORTH OF ISLAND. DAY TRIPS TO LA GOMERA ISLAND.

Local Facilities: Our Villa is adjacent to Amarilla golf 18 and 9 hole courses. 27 hole Golf del Sur is on adjacent complex 5 mins drive Waterfront restaurants 10 minutes walk. Local supermarket 10 minutes walk. Los Abrigos local fishing village and fish restaurants 3 miles. MARINA - Sailing, watersports and fishing organised. Large international quality supermarkets (including Iceland selling all UK products and frozen foods- 5 minutes drive). Banks 5 minutes drive. Nearby 5 star hotel facilities can be used [e.g beauty salon].

Golf & Sport: Amarilla Golf has an 18 hole championship course with wonderful views over the Atlantic and Mount Teide. Designed by Donald Steel it features barrancas as 'water hazards' and at the 5th hole the ocean becomes the fairway so you have to cross it to reach the green. It also has a 9 hole pitch and putt course, driving range and putting green. The club offers an equestrian centre, tennis court, full size swimming pool, pros shop, bar and restaurant. Water sports including yacht hire can be arranged at the Marina which is close to the 9th hole. Golf del Sur is adjacent and offers 27 holes of superb golf with a somewhat different character. Other full size and shorter courses are within easy reach by car. There are bowling facilities on the Golf del Sur complex 10 minutes walk from the villa.

Beautiful villa, spotlessly clean.

We've just returned from this excellent villa.
We found it to be spotlessly clean and Jim Burrows was friendly and efficient in showing us all we needed to know.

The 'Welcome Pack' was gratefully received as it got us started the following day, before needing to find a supermarket.

Equipment wise, this is the best equipped place we've stayed in, the owners seem to have thought of everything.

We and our two children (8 & 4), found the pool to be just the right size and the solar heating certainly seemed to work very well.

As regards location, the views from the terrace are great. In our case we chose not to hire a car. This meant about a 10 minute walk to the supermarket and around 20 restaurants, all at Golf Del Sur. This was exactly as the owner had described and proved a pleasant walk each evening.

I think we tried about 8 of the restaurants during our stay and found them all to be very good and certainly 'child friendly'.
'Harbour Lights' being the one we'd recommend the most.

We also ate at the Golf Club which is literally 3 minutes walk from the villa and does food during the day. We booked a day trip from there to 'Loro Parque' which, while not cheap, was a really good day out.

Not being golfers ourselves we can't comment on the courses but there seemed to be plenty of people enjoying them!

All in all a great holiday and we'd certainly try to book this particular villa when we return to Teneriffe.
