Ermioni itself is on a peninsular embraced on both sides by the sea, with a woodland area at the end called BISTI. This pine covered archaeological site is a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely walk, or swim in the crystal blue sea and enjoy some of the views across to Hydra and Thermissia. Here you will discover ancient remains, an old windmill and rocky coves. On the north side of the peninsular is the natural harbour called LIMANIA, with small fishing boats, shops, banks, post office, pharmacies, cafes, buses, taxis, ferries and the colourful weekly market. On the south side is MANDRAKIA, where you will find waterside bars, restaurants and tavernas with their octopus hung out in the sun, as well as music bars.

PAPAS HOUSE is at the southern MANDRAKIA side of ERMIONI and is perfectly situated for many historical places of interest, including beaches and the Saronic islands of Spetses, Hydra and Poros. Across the road from PAPAS HOUSE one can enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters. The large spacious courtyard is filled with, garden furniture, B-B-Q, parasol and a hammock. For the sports enthusiastic there is a table tennis table. The owners are very artistic and in the basement, one can view some pieces of sculpture. A short stroll from the house will bring you to all the local amenities and tavernas. Ermioni is a fantastic base for those who wish to experience a traditional Greek holiday, besides exploring the great historical and cultural sites.

NOTICE……..A night club neighbours Papas’ House, which is only open during the Greek festive periods and summer months. This may be a cause of alarm for the light sleepers since the noise from the street, and neighbouring dance clubs can be unpredictable. This may be a disadvantage of being on the seafront perhaps, however, air conditioning affords one to close the windows, and block out most late night/early morning wanderers, or stray mopeds on their way home. Opposite the house, there is a studio which sleeps 2 only. This could be used additionally for a larger family, or for 2 independant people only. PRICES UPON REQUEST FOR 2.
