This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath contemporary home has everything you need to enjoy the Florida lifestyle! Situated on a private, spring-fed lake, you can go for paddle on the canoe, relax on the hammock or sit in the huge screened in back porch or deck and to have your meals al fresco! The house is a split plan - with a queen in the master bedroom and an en-suite bath downstairs. Upstairs is a loft with a family room/library and game room. The loft has a full size sofa bed. Also upstairs are a bathroom and 2 other bedrooms, each with a full size bed. The house features a fireplace for chilly winter nights, soaring ceiling heights and windows everywhere to let in natural light. The house is open, light, bright, airy and comfortable.

About Colleen Puglisi

Transplanted from the Buffalo/Niagara Falls, NY area, we moved to Orlando in 1994 and have lived in this home since 2005. Now that our only son is in college at Syracuse University, it's time to start enjoying being an empty nester and travelling more. To do so, our private home is being offered to those who will love and respect it as much as we do! We feel so blessed to have a home that can offer travellers an affordable, comfortable, safe place to stay when they visit the Orlando area. The location of the house is perfect - under 5 minutes to 2 major highways to get you around the Central Florida area - but when you get back in the neighborhood and are outside enjoying the lake breezes, you feel like your a million miles away from all the hustle of Orlando.

This area of Orlando is central to everything - the airport, downtown, theme parks and both the West and East coast beaches! It makes getting around so easy! Living on the water has always been a dream since growing up near the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. It's so peaceful to sit on the back porch and read a book or jump in the canoe and paddle around the lake. Orlando has so much to offer besides the theme parks - great museums, theater and natural beauty - kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking. Enjoy!

What makes this house unique

The second you step in the front door, you see through the house to the lake in the backyard. Almost every window in the house has a view of the lake. When you open the sliding glass doors to the cedar lined, custom-tiled screened-in back porch, you will be drawn to slow down and relax. The loft is a great place for the kids to have their own place to hang out!

Just 20 minutes to all theme parks - Disney, Universal and Sea World via major highways. The house is in a beautiful subdivision with a canopy of old growth oaks covered in Spanish moss lining the streets. The neighborhood has pools and tennis courts for your use. Within 5 minutes, you can visit numerous City and County parks for a taste of the real Florida. The nearest beach - Cocoa Beach is just an easy 45 minute drive. Enjoy all the comforts of home with grocery stores, restaurants, banking and all your daily needs just minutes away. Numerous malls and outlet shopping centers are never more than a 10 minute drive. My home can be your home base while you explore all that Central Florida has to offer!
