Agios Nikolaos Vacation Rental cottage

My partner and I stayed at Moon Grove cottage in August 2008 for 5 days as part of our 3 week trip around mainland Greece. We had a wonderful time there - one of our best holidays yet! The property is truly charming and has all the personal touches and comforts of a well loved home. The most spectacular feature of the cottage is the roof terrace from which we enjoyed a drink on an evening with a crystal clear picture of the Milky Way above our heads and the frequent appearance of a shooting star! It is in a quiet location, nestled amongst the olive groves, yet within walking distance to the sea which again can be appreciated while relaxing on the roof terrace. We recommend you have a car to see all that this beautiful region has to offer from the rich archaeological sites to the small fishing villages with their typical Greek hospitality and even the more popular fun beaches not too far away.
Moon Grove cottage has charm and character and its location is to be envied.

Moongrove has the most stunning location, in the middle of an olive grove between the mountains and the sea. The perfume from the wild sage is something I shall never forget, nor is watching the sun come up from behind the mountains while doing yoga on the roof terrace. The accommodation is both comfortable and tasteful, and the cottage has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. I can't wait to go back.

People who are reading this and thinking of renting out this stone cottage for your holiday, i would stongly advise you doing so, as I visited in august with my husband, 4 year old daughter and myself.

We really enjoyed our stay, The scenery around the cottage is amazing and from the terrace you can see amazing thing especially on a night looking up at the stars and moon, It is set in a beautiful area and the cottage its self it a comfort and feels like your own home.

The facilities are all available and in working order which is very handy and would defintely advise taking the air-con into consideration as the heat is all through the night and its just a god send.

Where the cottage is built is handy for all sorts of places, there are several beaches to visit and not far to walk or drive to. Supermarkets are close by too for your general items you need to buy and have alsorts in so very handy incase you forget something or run out of it.

Just a two minute walk from the cottage is a taverna which do lovely food, drinks and treat you like family. Everywhere you go you meet lovely greeks, they have fun with you, and will go out their way to make sure you have a lovely meal.

Every restaurant we visited done lovely food and especially the homemade icecream palour in stoupa my daughter loved there and are very gengerous with the portions.

Back to the cottage, The beds are soo comfy and the bed linin smelt so fresh when we got into the beds, shower rooms very clean and maintained and we loved the outside shower especially when we got back from days at the beach.
We loved the thought of tables and chairs in different settings around the cottage as we could watch the moon go down at every position and sit in the cool breeze.

We had a great holiday and enjoyed it that much we booked a extra week, instead of stying 2 weeks we ended up being there for 3 weeks,

I would strongly advise having your holiday there, we are in discussion with the owners on rebooking but i need to sort my dates before booking.
