Dewa Phuket beach resort is located towards the north western tip of Phuket away from the bustle of the main towns, but still providing easy access Phuket City (30 minutes away) and the west coast road that weaves its way past the island's beautiful beaches and towards the always active night life of Pattong.
Nai Yang beach (50 metres from the resort entrance) is idyllically located in a secluded bay, set amidst the Sirinath National Park, its privacy and tranquility remains assured. Unique to Phuket, the soft golden beach gives way to the shimmering turquoise waters which are protected by a reef some few hundred meters out to sea, affording bathers the luxury of safe swimming all year round.
For avid golfers, the Blue Canyon Country Club, with its two internationally reputed championship golf courses is less than 10 minutes away. Additionally, numerous boat trips, scuba diving and snorkelling, windsurfing, and sight seeing trips can be arranged via the resort reception area.

Dewa Phuket Resort -is a newly opened (November 2008) development, gathered around two beautiful resort pools, with shared on-site facilities including restaurants, shop, gym and spa. The resort is finished to the highest standards and the Thai staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Dewa is situated on the north-west coast of Phuket Island, just a few metres from the fabulous Nai Yang beach and adjacent to the Sirinath National Park. This area of Phuket is tranquil and relaxed compared with the more developed parts of the island further south, and there is a notable absence of noise at night – perfect for those seeking a truly chilled pace of holiday life.

Nai Yang beach rarely gets too crowded even at the height of the season, and is a great place to watch the sun going down in the evening. Nai Yang beach is protected by an offshore reef, ensuring that there is safe year round bathing on the beach. Nai Yang is also regularly used by wind surfers and kite surfers, and their skills are best admired whilst sat on the beach and with a beer in hand! Adjacent to the beach and about a 5 minute walk from Dewa Resort, there are a number of local bars and restaurants where you can dine cheaply and informally by the beach. Our favourite restaurant is called Octopus, is run by Lek who speaks good English and usually has a magic trick to entertain the kids, and where the food is especially recommended. There are many other restaurants around Phuket, featuring a wide variety of cuisines and at pitched at every price level.
Golf:
For golfers, the famous Blue Canyon Country Club, with its two internationally renowned championship golf courses is less than 10 minutes away – again the Dewa resort reception will be happy to make bookings for you, but please note that a handicap certificate is required. Boat trips can also be arranged by the Dewa Resort reception to visit some of the smaller nearby islands. Our favourite trip is to visit the pearl island of Rang Yai - and to have dinner and stay overnight on the almost deserted island.
