About Karen Runk
My husband grew up in Chesterfield, actually in this house. We met in Dallas, had two children and moved around the country before his job landed him back to his hometown.
Karen Runk purchased this house in 1999
Why Karen Runk chose St. Louis
We purchased the home from my husband's parents in 1999, they were downsizing and we were raising our family. After our kids had grown and left the nest, we were ready to downsize. We had an unexpected opportunity to buy the smaller house next door, so we did. We are renting our old 'big' house as a vacation rental until the housing market rebounds.
What makes this house unique
The number one attraction is the yard that backs up to common ground. It's beautiful, and not uncommon to see such wildlife as deer and wild turkey, along with the squirrels and bunnies of course. On the inside, this house is huge, we have many fond memories of Girl Scout meetings, slumber parties and movie nights with friends.
