The 'Gîte de l'olivette' is an independent detached house that is large enough to accommodate 4 people comfortably. The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen/dining room, living room, bathroom and independent toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The third bedroom is on the ground floor. It can be used as an independent studio apartment with toilet and bathroom and can accommodate 2 people. The gite is situated 200 metres from the owner's house and is surrounded by 1500 olive and fruit trees, oaks, chestnuts, grape vines and heather.

The Gite de l'Olivette is situated on an organic fruit and olive farm specialized in old and rare varieties, with natural Mediterranean heath and woodland all around. The site was used for making grindstones for a hundred years. The nearby village of Saint Privat is very picturesque, perched on a steep valley side. The Larzac plateau is just above the village, with its cooler climate, wild nature and historic villages - and the Millau viaduct. The nearby Lac du Salagou is renowned for its red earth, nature walking and watersports. Montpellier is just 50 km away and offers a wide range of culture, sport and shopping.
