Detached 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa sleeps 8 in southern Italy

Bordering on luxury Villa Jenna provides child-friendly, spacious accommodation with both air conditioning and central heating throughout over two floors. The upper floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen with large dining room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Off the dining room and main bedroom there is a spacious terrace with ample sitting and dining area overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

On the lower floor the villa comprises a large living room, with open fire, large flat screen Satellite TV, DVD and 3 large sofas, one of which provides discreet sleeping arrangements should they be required. Off the living area is another bedroom, bathroom and utility room.

Access to the lower terrace is through either the sitting room or bedroom.

Outside the villa has its own enclosed terraced landscaped garden, with separate BBQ area, private off road parking and a number of patio areas for catching the sun all day long.

The area is renowned for its white sandy beaches, hot summers and temperate winters. There are two National Parks within easy reach and the villa is in an ideal location as a base to travel within Calabria, to the Aeolean Islands and to Sicily.

Close by within a 10 minute drive can be found the ancient town of Tropea, with an outstanding selection of bars, restaurants and gelaterias, from simple Pizzerias to an exquisite seafood restaurant - most of which have outside seating where you can soak up the local atmosphere.

Of the many beaches the nearest is at Zambrone Marina, with free car parking and only two minutes away. Beyond the promenade the long white sandy beach leads down to the blue-green ocean with rocky coves and picturesque cliffs.

Other areas of interest include Capo Vaticano, again with spectacular beaches and water sports, Pizzo town is another ancient town with splendid sights and a range of restaurants.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pound) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • A non refundable deposit of 30% is payable on booking with balance due 8 weeks prior to your stay.

    A fully refundable security deposit of £200 is payable with balance.

    Prices quoted are for up to six people. There is a charge of £50 per person for any additional person - excluding children.
    Change over is normally on a Saturday, but we will try to accommodate other days if at all possible
    Preference will be given to stays of two weeks and more in High Summer.
    Linen and towels are included,however beach towels can only be provided as an additional charge. Please enquire for prices.
    Electricity and a supply of logs is included together with the minimum of one large full bottle of LPG in the weekly charge
    A mid stay change of linen, etc., is provided, but for lets of less than two weeks it would be for an additional cost.
    Final Clean charge of £100.00

Fantastic Holiday

We had a lovely stay at Villa Jenna in June. The villa itself is excellently equipped and the views are beautiful, it was lovely to sit out and have breakfast with panoramic sea views and equally as nice to sit with a glass of wine watching the sunset.

We took our young children and grandparents along and the layout proved perfect in that we had the upstairs with the children, and they had the downstairs so even though we were all in one villa we still had some space/privacy which worked very well.

The villa was nice and clean on arrival and the kitchen area especially was pleasing in that it was very well equipped so was very appealing to use some lovely local produce and create a nice meal in the evening. We received a warm welcome and the provisions in the fridge were very handy especially as we arrived late at night. The bathrooms again were very clean and lots of fluff white towels were provided.

The location of the Villa is ideal in that you have a nice quite local beach minutes away or can travel in to Tropea if you prefer to have more choice of sunbeds/beach bars etc. The ice-cream from the cafe at Zambarone Train Station is also a must and very handy on your way back from the beach!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and after staying in various different villas, so having some experience, I would highly recommend Villa Jenna and hope to visit again someday.

Beautiful Place!

Wonderful villa, stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful place to enjoy meals...right in the terrace with the a view of the sea. Location is really quiet, but with easy access to the beach (by car) about 3 mintues away. Tropea is about 10 minutes away by car. The house itself is so pretty - - and great for children as there is lots of outdoor space so they can run around...also an outdoor shower so they can clean off before coming in....also helpful after a day at the beach.

Owners great at communication and very helpful as was their property management company.

Would recommend!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
