Welcome to our home! Our Pristine (1950 square feet) Floridian home awaits you for your home away from home vacation. When our family members are not using this Florida retreat we allow other special guests to take advantage of what Florida has to offer. With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a 2 car garage our home in Merritt Island is clean, bright and features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, tile floor throughout, with a formal living and dining area, comfortable den/office and a modern kitchen with breakfast nook. It has a spacious master suite with a queen size bed, large main bath with double sinks, garden tub & walk-in shower as well as a second bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. The house was just freshly painted and has all new furniture. There is a large screen TV and a DVD so that you can relax after a hard day in the sun and watch your favorite shows or a movie. It is nicely landscaped with a spacious fenced back yard and a propane BBQ. And to top it all off, there is a large community pool just steps from the house that you can use to cool off and stay fit!
All you need to do is show up with food and enjoy!
We only accept small, non-shedding pets (under 10 lbs).
Merritt Island is truly one of the most unique and diverse areas of Florida. It is never overly crowded! It avoids many of the problems that plague other parts of Florida such as the huge influx of teenagers during spring break and you can always find a beach that suits you - from deserted and quiet to moderately busy and active.
Merritt Island definitely has a slower beach town atmosphere feel to it. It has all the large box stores you can imagine, but perhaps more importantly, it has kept the small Floridian specialty shops where you can find that special and unique gift.
Besides shopping, the natural beauty and wildlife nearby will astound you. From the Wildlife Nature Reserves to the protected waters of the river it is there for you to enjoy. Whether you explore it by foot, or kayak, or canoe you are sure to find something you have never sen before.
And for the active person in all of us, swimming, surfing, or just walking along the miles of beaches that are all nearby will provide you plenty of exercise .
Lastly, and perhaps just as important, is the location of our house. When I drive to the Orlando airport it is only approx 45 min away. Our house is close to the main highway that takes you directly into Orlando so finding Disney World, or the airport is a breeze. This same highway, but going in the other direction, takes you to the beaches, the Cruise Ship Terminal and many restaurants and local shops! If you were worried about driving from our house to various other locations, this is one worry you will not have!

1 Nov - 30 March.. $2,500/month, 3 or 4 month leases preferable (reduced rates).
1 April – 1 Nov.. $2,000/month 3 or 4 month leases preferable (reduced rates).
We offer discounted rates for longer term rentals
* $350 refundable security deposit required at registration.
* 11% Florida State & Local Resort Tax (not included in rates).
* $100 cleaning charge per stay.
6 person maximum, no exceptions. Small pets welcome (under 10 lbs). No smoking.
NO HOUSE PARTIES. Basic cable/unlimited North America phone calling and wireless internet incl. All utilities incl.
No refunds for late arrival, early departure or hurricanes.
