Location: Cornwall < England
Portreath is a small village nestled between the cliffs on the North coast of Cornwall with a small harbour, long sandy beach and waves made for surfing and body boarding. The village itself is small and friendly with several shops, cafes and pubs. There is a nearby 'watering hole' in the middle of the beach and just a few yards form the property.
Within a short drive of Portreath you will find other activities including swimming pools, squash, badminton, outdoor bowls, horse riding and a choice of 6 golf courses. The National Trust coast path is also close by and provides some breathtaking scenery along the spectacular cliffs of North Cornwall. Inland there are wooded and parkland walks where wild flowers and many species of birds are a twitchers delight.
