A charming character cottage that has been beautifully updated whilst retaining original features such as beamed ceilings and stone walls. It is a short drive away from the quaint village of Kingston with all it's pretty cottages and village pub. Just a couple of miles away is Modbury (the first plastic bag free town), where you will find many shops, restaurants, bistros, pubs... The nearest beach is Bigbury-on-Sea which is about 5 miles away and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It offers an ideal location for a variety of watersports, great coastal walks, and has a beautiful cliff top 18 hole Golf Course, with outstanding views of the moors and sea in all directions. Salcombe is probably the most famous resort and sailing centre in the South West, Salcombe is the Southern most town in the South Hams. The views Salcombe boasts are second to none and in the summer months is a haven of activity with sail boats, dinghies and yachts peppering the river. Shops include Musto, Jack Wills, White Stuff, fat face mixed in with independent galleries and boutiques. You are never far from refreshments with plenty of traditional pubs to choose from all within a few steps form the waters edge. There are 3 beautiful sandy beaches just across the river from Salcombe; East Portlemouth, North Sands and South Sands which can be access via regular ferries.
