Honicombe Manor is set in 30 acres of woodland and has stunning views of nearby Dartmoor. On site, Honicombe is packed with many leisure facilities including a superb heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool, children’s play area, fitness centre, relaxing sauna, restaurant and bar. (Site facilities are closed annually from early January to Mid February). The spacious site layout, large grounds and surrounding beautiful countryside make the location perfectly tranquil and an ideal base for exploring the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also a World Heritage Site. And the Manor’s location, being on the Devon and Cornwall border, means that there is a perfect opportunity to discover the best of both counties.

During July and August a number of day trips can be booked via reception including canoeing, moorland walks and rock climbing on nearby Dartmoor. Tavistock is located in the South West edge of Dartmoor National park and is surrounded by the natural beauty of rolling hills and rugged Tors. It is perfectly situated for walking and cycling due to Tavistock’s position between Dartmoor and the Tamar Valley and is also a great place to play golf, with four courses within a five mile radius, including Tavistock’s own course. Why not learn a new and exciting activity like sailing on the Tavy or horse riding on Dartmoor whilst on your hoilday? . Tavistock’s location on the Devon/Cornwall border means that it is ideal for exploring the region with some of the most famous attractions such as the Eden Project within easy driving distance. Although not by the coast, Tavistock is only a short journey from some of the South West’s most beautiful beaches and ports.
