The Olive Press Villa has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard. Whilst retaining many original features all modern facilities have been incorporated to make your stay comfortable. As you enter the villa from its car park you will be impressed with its large high vaulted open plan living-room and dining area featuring a large fire place and rural style furnishings. Adjoining this area is a well equipped kitchen. The mezzanine floor above has a generous king size bed with a large adjoining bathroom. The bedroom opens out onto a sun terrace leading to the swimming pool. Back on the ground floor is an additional single bedroom and a double bedroom both with their own bathrooms Outside is split on two levels, the ground floor a large paved terrace with dining table, shaded areas and adjoining double bedroom annex with en-suite bathroom. Above is the unique swimming pool with its own terrace converted from the old olive press water storage.

The Olive Press Villa enjoys stunning uninterrupted views over the valleys and mountains. The villa is set down a quiet lane in the centre of the village ensuring you easy access to travel yet total privacy and seclusion. Kounali is a small Cretan mountain village just a few kilometres from the clear blue Mediterranean sea and coastal village of Milatos with its beaches, small shops and fish tavernas. On the road between Kounali and Milatos is the famous cave of Milatos, well worth a visit. The market town of Neapoli is only 7 Kilometres and offers supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, banks, cathedral, cinema, museum and a taste of local life.

This is the perfect 'get away from it all' villa, superbly located for peace and tranquility, The views from the villa are stunning, one of the nicest ways to appreciate the magnificient scenery is to relax on the balcony with a long glass of Campari and Lemonade and you will feel totally chilled.
The Olive Press Villa also has the advantage of being in a friendly village where there is a local taverna, which is very welcoming. The nearby seaside Village of Milatos is also lovely, with tavernas selling amazing food to enjoy whilst having fabulous views out to sea.
We have been enjoying this very special place for the past 4 years and would highly recommend it as the perfect place for a taste of paradise!
