I love this place! This was my home for 3 months while visiting Ocean Beach. You can't beat the location. The beach is a couple blocks away, as well as coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The sense of community in OB is amazing. It's a friendly (dog friendly too), down to earth place with everything you need within walking distance. The cottage has plenty of space both inside and out. It is very comfortable with nice simple furnishing and a very comfy bed. It's clean and well maintained and is equipped with everything you need. My bikes/paddleboards and surfboards were always safe here in the backyard. The is a secure space for your car in the gated driveway, so you never have to fight for street parking. There are bike trails that start right at dog beach and go over the bridges to Mission Beach and PB. You can ride around the entire bay easily and without traffic around you. There are also a couple surf breaks at the OB pier and also by the jetty in front of dog beach. The YMCA is about a 10 minute bike ride away. They have a new gym and also a nice clean pool. You just can't beat this spot!
As a bonus, Matt and Toni are the nicest people, who I enjoyed getting to know. The were very welcoming, honest and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this place. I had such a great time here and I hope to come back here again soon! =)
