The home and area offers four seasons of fun. Golf and ATV riding in the summer. Beautiful fall color tours. A winter sports paradise. Spring brings new wildflowers, hikes and morel mushroom hunting.
Gaylord has always been my first choice for vacations. It gave me a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of northern Michigan.
During the winter months, enjoy the convenience of parking your sleds right out side your door. Fire them up in the morning a head out for a day of spectacular riding. My favorite day trip is going to the Mackinac Bridge and back.
My wife and I were fortunate to get accommodations at Wilderness Pines. It is such a comfortable and convenient rental. We both have difficulty with stair climbing and all we needed was located on the ground floor. Although there upper floor sleeping and bathroom accommodations as well.
The cabin is clean and well maintained and offers full housekeeping features: fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and a comfortable living room with satellite TV capability. It is set off the road so as to offer the feeling of seclusion for those wanting privacy. The owner was most hospitable and courteous. He offered excellent directions to local points of interest, shopping, and dining. (our favorite dining spot was Gobblers Restaurant. We would not hesitate to use this rental again and totally recommend it to others.
