A perfectly located, modern town home located in the Cherokee Triangle Historic Preservation District. Less than 500 feet from a great restaurant, a great ice cream and pie shop, several casual restaurants, two coffee houses, three clubs, a health club and several shops. One of six perfectly maintained and furnished historic district properties we have made available for short term rental.
This three story condominium has two king bedrooms, two full baths, an additional first floor half bath and a full laundry. Flat screen televisions, wifi and gas fireplace are all provided.
It is 1550 square feet. On the first floor is the living/dining area with a queen sleeper sofa and dining table for six. There is also a full kitchen, powder room and a large flat screen television. A gas fireplace provides warmth and atmosphere in the fall and winter. On the second floor is a full laundry room with brand new washer/dryer, a king bedroom and a full bath. The third floor contains an over sized bedroom with a king bed and a daybed (twin sized) that can accommodate children or another adult. The third floor also has a full bath with shower for two.
WiFi, cable and two parking spaces are all included. Parking is available immediately outside the unit or inside the gated parking area (accessible by the provided remote control).
Beds are made with top quality minimum 400 thread count cotton sheets and four quality pillows. Kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances (gas range, stainless Samsung french door refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.) and fully stocked with flatware, dishes, pots, pans and standard utensils. Of course, there is a coffee maker (and locally roasted coffee), toaster, microwave and hand mixer.
Public transportation (bus and trolley stops) are located within 200 feet of the front door.

This townhome is ideally located for the Louisville visitor-It is new construction (2004), but located in the city's premier historic preservation district; The Cherokee Triangle. It occupies a magical spot between urban and residential-- offering a quiet arboretum and tree lined streets in one direction and a bustling district of restaurants, shops and cafes in another. Close to downtown, close to Churchill Downs and far, far from the cookie cutter suburban experience.
Really enjoyed our stay, Great location near a lot of restaurants and night spots. Had easy access to downtown as well (~5 mins). Very well appointed condo - really comfortable. Hope to stay again next year.
We rented this property for the 2014 Derby/Oaks. We were very impressed with how much thought the super attentive owner put into our stay. The owner 1) had Derby/Oaks inspired fresh flowers in the property, 2) had Mint Julep ingredients waiting for us upon arrival, 3) had the house cleaned TWICE during our stay (for the record- it was extremely clean anyway), 4) shopped for us in advance so the house had food and beverages waiting for us, and 5) encouraged us to make restaurant recommendations early enough to beat the Derby rush.
We can affirm what others have noted that during Derby week it is loud at night.
We would NOT hesitate to stay at this property again.

Just returned home from a Girls' Getaway, and I''m so glad we found this condo! We especially loved the idea of 2 bedrooms with a very comfortable king sized bed in each one. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the property was very clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed going downtown around the river and we attended a play at the Kentucky Center for the Arts while we were there. We took the advice of the owner and toured Cave Cemetery. It was beautiful! The area around the condo is very busy with cute shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed our lunch at Jack Frys. The food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!
We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby 2013, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The condo is great for 6 people in a prime location near lots of shopping and dining options. The property was in excellent condition and fully stocked with kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies. The owner was wonderful answering all of my many questions beforehand, and even let us provide a grocery list of items before our stay that she had gotten for us prior to arriving. One note: this area is very active at night, and during Derby week it was very loud due to a bar located next door until very late at night (bars are open until 4 or 6 am this week). That being said, we were so tired from our own celebration and the beds were so comfy it didn't bother us at all :).
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property.
My husband and I stayed in the condo for a week when in town for our daughter's wedding. It was a wonderful place to stay and regroup during a busy week. We were close to restaurants, downtown and any place we needed to be. It is a lovely, modern condo with the latest amenities and plenty of room for 4-6 guests. Everything was sparkling clean, and well-equipped. Our beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was also set up with coffee, and everything we needed for a great stay.
We even got a surprise by being near a huge celebration when the Louisville Cardinals won the NCAA basketball fnals! We found ourselves in the middle of a great celebration and truly enjoyed ourselves.
I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay with no worries!
We had a wonderful stay at this condo! My husband, myself and another couple came to Louisville for a long weekend, and this was the ideal place to stay. We loved the walk-ability to everything! The area was fun and busy, but the unit is tucked in a few steps...enough to make it a great retreat after all of the fun.
The beds were very comfortable, so much so, that we sought out and purchased the blankets on these beds for our own beds at home! Everything was clean and nice! There were a lot of stairs, which we actually appreciated after eating ourselves silly at Jack Fry's and The Pie Kitchen after (possibly more than once.. :) Parking was great and easy, one spot was gated and the other in front of the unit, off street. We enjoyed watching the St Patrick's Day parade from the third floor patio! This was an ideal set up for two couples, as it offers two private suites.
Deirdre was a great host and very communicative! We look forward to staying in Louisville at this great condo again soon.

This townhome is located within 150 yards of a half dozen restaurants in one direction and a peaceful national arboretum in the other! Shops, cafes, clubs, cinema and great restaurants are all within a five minute walk. Downtown is less than two miles away, the airport is 5 miles and Churchill Downs 4.5 miles. The city's best park, a 400 acre oasis is less than a mile away. This home is truly at the crossroads to everywhere that is anywhere in Louisville
