Our home is located in Gold Canyon between hole number 2 and 3 of the Sidewinder golf course, with panoramic views of Superstition mountain as well as Dinosaur Mountain which also shades the townhouse in the late afternoon and provides spectacular views.
Our home is in a landscaped, very quiet gated community. We are 30 to 40 minutes from Sky Harbor airport and about 30 minutes from Mesa Gateway Airport. Little traffic in our community but still a few minutes from shopping malls, grocery stores, home depot and fast foods.
Our home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Two bedrooms are master suites up with queen beds and TVs and each has a master bath. Our third bedroom is on the main floor with a full bath in case someone in your party has an issue with stairs.
If you need to work while you are vacationing feel free to use our den equipped with high speed internet, connect your computer to wifi while sitting at the desk or anywhere else in the house. If you need a break the living room den is equipped with cable, DVD, and a 51' flat screen TV as well as new, comfortable furniture.
Other relaxing features would be to move out to one of the two patios with a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the mountains and the scenic wash teaming with wildlife.
The back patios are right next to the cart path between Sidewinder Golf course holes number 2 and 3 so you can also get services from the golf cart concession lady with perhaps a breakfast burrito in the morning or refreshing drinks throughout the day.
You can also walk about ten minutes from this condo down the cart paths to a full service restaurant and bar at the Gold Canyon Golf resort that services the Sidewinder and Dinosaur Golf courses. It is a local favorite and serves excellent food at reasonable prices It has a wonderful patio with stunning view of the golf course and the mountains.
Make sure you visit our community clubhouse which has a beautiful pool, spa, fitness center, outside bbq's a large kitchen and dining area inside as well as patio dining outside and a large meeting room all this within a 4 minute walk.
There is so much to do while visiting the area! Choose from more than 200 golf courses ranging from traditional to desert settings. Sidewinder is rated as the number 1 public course in Arizona!
There is also hiking; museums and art galleries; zoos and botanical gardens; scenic drives; 4 wheeling and off highway vehicle trails; rodeos; shopping; professional sports including the Cactus League Spring Training, Diamondbacks, Suns, Mercury, Coyotes, and Cardinals,; old west attractions including Old Tucson Studios, many local, state and national parks, area casinos, scenic boat tours on Saguaro and Canyon Lakes; salt water river rafting trips.
