Lovely apartment in Limassol

We had a lovely time for a week in Limassol, with our youngest son. The weather was very hot and humid, but this was really expected and the air conditioning made us feel comfy when inside. Mary and her husband have proved perfect hosts, we had a bottle of nice Cypriot wine on the house and the apartment was quite spacious and bright, we had a huge terrace as well as an en-suite shower-room beside the main bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and the furniture in good condition. There was some noise from the motorway, but not excessive, the apartment is close enough to the beach, some shops and several restaurants and has its own swimming-pool. The other residents were quite civilised (hopefully they felt the same about us!), we stayed in a rather luxurious area indeed, across from the 5 star Hotel St Raphael and the Marina. We would like to come again some time soon.
