Gorgeous designer white LOFT: 2 BEDROOMS + 2 full BATHROOMS ensuite, AC, 2 balconies, spacious 80m2 (860 square feet), and capacity for 6 people. Both rooms are isolated and separated from the rest, despite the open plan of the living. And futon as third bed if needed.

To be honest, you won't find affordable designer lofts on such a unique location. This loft combines: modernist space with designer furniture, double balcony veranda, fine art on the walls, and privileged location. Guests love this loft, check reviews list!.

Location is truly priviledged!: 2 balconies facing popular CHUECA Square, a favorite locals pedestrian spot, totally central, just 5 minutes’ walk to GRAN VIA, Madrid's art deco avenue. Short walking distance to Fuencarral shopping street, central hub SOL and Prado Museum. Metro station is right at the entrance, but you barely need it, as you may walk everywhere. Easy access from the airport.

Reopened Mercado de San Anton is right on the corner, and a trendy food spot in Madrid: 2 penthouse restaurants, excellent tapas and wines, gourmet bakery and groceries.

INSIDE THE LOFT

Ceilings are 3,3 m high and all is white, which gives a great sensation of space and brightness. The open plan light-filled living room is furnished with a dining central table and 4 Eiffel chairs, 2 French style armchairs and antique bookcase, one double bed sofa. TV and WI-FI provided. A fine art photograph of Nepal and circled modernist lamps decorate the room.

Master bedroom is isolated by a sliding door from the living. It has one double bed, closet and a Bertoia chair. A large photograph from Burma as headboard, gives privacy to the ensuite full bathroom.

Two 3 m high balconies overlook the square. Equipped with the best double glazing isolation, assures a quiet stay.

Spacious kitchen with fridge freezer, induction cooktop, central table + 4 chairs, vintage mirror and glass lamps from a design store. There is an extra separated bedroom with its own full bathroom, queen size bed, a spacious wardrobe, and a desk.

ABOUT THE AREA

With a 5 min. walking distance to Gran Via, and Chueca Square as the epicenter, neighbourhood Chueca has probably become the most frequented area in Madrid over the last years.

Known by madrilians as a eating and shopping area, discover both modern Spanish and world cuisine restaurants, as well as a shopping district with trendy stores (like Fuencarral pedestrian street). Sunny sidewalk cafes and rooftop bars are places to see and be seen, with fashionable people, or just anybody interested in the vibe of this unique and cosmopolitan spot. And variety of spots to have a drink at night.

Young entrepreneurs run small modern bakeries, hairdressers, clothing boutiques, bookstores, cafes...with lots of character. Find also big supermarkets (Opencor, Dia...) or the remarkable Mercado de San Anton, with its penthouse restaurant.

Being an old neighborhood, you will surely have a taste of the old Madrid: genuine taverns, tapas bars, guitar makers workshops...Find a mixture of tradition and avant-garde in Chueca.

very convenient comfortable apt

This apt. Is pleasing to the eye and comfortable as well. Subway and gourmet market only steps away.Artwork done by owner is unusual. neighborhood is interesting with boutiques and restaurants yet in a normal livable area. the 2 bathrooms were a plus as we were 3 ladies that shared the apt.

We were happy with the place we found in Madrid. The place was clean and had nice amenities and the service was good. The location was good but noisy at night. While the street noise was mostly cut out, it was so loud when people came home in the wee hours of the morning. Also, there was a 25eur charge to check in early and we couldn't drop our luggage. Other than that, we had a nice stay!

It is indeed what most guests believe. This is by far our most loved apartment. You are correct, windows have best sound proof isolation available in the market (thick double glazing and "silence" treatment). You can see but you can't hear the buzz outside. Apologies for those neighbors down the building stairs. Guests haven't mentioned it before, as you can see on past reviews. It is, all in all, a quiet apartment. However we understand you, and next time, we'll be happy to react and compensate if needed. Feel welcome to come back. We'd be glad!

Delightful Designer Apartment Has Everything

I love this place in the heart of Chueca, right on the plaza about 25 paces from the Metro, and about a 15-second walk from upscale San Anton Market. It is remarkably convenient to get to on the Metro, though you won't need it, b/c the apartment is so conveniently located to walk everywhere in the city. I even walked to Atocha to meet a friend who was passing through (about 15 minutes).

Though I was there with my dad, the place would be perfect for two couples. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you need to cook at home. The two bedrooms -- one on front and one in the back of the apt. -- are well-separated and have fantastic (and cleverly done) bathrooms en suite, and the entire apartment is beautifully updated with new, clean fridge, stove, dishwasher, counter tops: everything you need including real dishes and glasses and stemware, not someone's leftovers or broken starter plates. It's tough to decide whether to eat in or not!

It's warm and cozy, with plenty of real towels and extra blankets and pillows. The windows in the living room -- which is the only room with exterior windows -- are floor-to-ceiling and let in loads of light or no light at all when you close the folding, (I think original) wooden shutters. The kitchen and back bedroom have windows on the interior of the building, so the apartment never feels like a cave.

Next door, there is a great fruit/vegetable place and a popular casual cafe/bar just across from the apartment, as well as countless chic Chueca bars and restaurants within a two-minute amble. The San Anton market, though really trendy, has tasty stuff at little bars, food stalls, and food both ready-to-eat and for cooking at home: this includes things like Emu eggs. The best thing, though, is that you're in a real neighborhood, so there are very few obnoxious tourists. Those foreigners who are there are eager to immerse themselves into Madrileno life.

Oscar met me within minutes of my arrival, even though I was early, and checking out was as easy as leaving the key on the table. I lacked nothing, but Jose nonetheless checked in with me a few times to make sure I was happy.

Being in a real apartment building and fronting a real Spanish plaza, expect outside noise in the living room -- though the balcony windows and shutters block most of that and with the bedroom doors closed, almost no street noise gets through.

I really can't recommend this place highly enough; after 10 minute I was ready to move in permanently.

Perfect Location

We are from Minnesota USA and we had a fabulous stay in Madrid. The location of this apartment is perfect. We could walk everywhere to all the sights, eating places, bar, museums, and the metro was right outside our door. The apartment was open, large, comfortable, clean and had all the necessary items we needed. It was great walking everywhere always felt safe and right out side our door we could get a beer, fresh fruit and tapas. Jose was great to work with making sure we had everything we needed. Perfect apartment and perfect country. We will be back and we will rent this apartment again. Thank you Jose for your hospitality.

L'appartamento corrisponde esattamente alle fotografie e si trova esattamente sulla piazza Chueca. Dai balconcini si gode la vista della vita frenetica della piazza. Ogni comodità è vicina: farmacia, supermercato e la fermata della linea 5. L'appartamento è rifornito di tutto e ben pulito.

Beautiful apt., Centrally located

There's an entrance to the Metro in the charming square outside this apartment. Windows are great, and apartment is quiet, and stunningly gorgeous. Wonderful places to eat nearby, and it is within walking distance of all the great art museums. Owner was very helpful with directions, and meeting me when I got in earlier than expected. I would return in a heartbeat.
