Turtle Bay Condo - Perfect Location

This was our first time renting through VRBO and we were, understandably, worried about what you read and see on the pictures vs the reality after you had already paid for your lodging.

This was our first trip to Oahu. After thorough research we realized that Waikiki wasn't the area we truly wanted to stay at for 2 weeks. We wanted a remote location with all the natural beauty. We found it in North shore and would not want to stay anywhere else!

Renting this unit from Kamakani was a breeze. He responded to all emails quickly and answered all of our questions.

When we arrived to Honolulu airport at almost 9pm local time, I called Kama, who then spent 30 minutes welcoming us to the island, answering questions about activities and reiterating multiple times to contact him if we experienced any issues.

The condo is beautiful. It had been recently renovated and everything was clean and perfectly organized. Not only did the condo have all the utensils, as one would expect, but we also had some basics such as salt, pepper, coffee filters etc.

The unit is conveniently located on the ground level, which was great for our two boys, who spent most of the time outside.

This condo is right next to a swimming pool and is about 10 minute walk away from the beach. Beaches at Turtle Bay are phenomenal. They are wider than those in Waikiki and are generally less crowded.

Our experience renting from Kama was outstanding and we are already trying to figure out when we can go back!
